Welcome to KTC deskdog and the best choice you could possibly make. Congratulations on 13 days quit. The nicotine is out of your system now, so it's just mental mind game's from here on out. You have to stay strong. Would be a good idea to have some seeds, gum, hard candy or fake with you at all times. Always remember what day 1 felt like so you know that you never want to experience another day 1. Post roll early everyday and take your quit one day at a time. Don't worry about tomorrow or the next day, just worry about today. Again, welcome to KTC and keep up the great quit. If you need anything feel free to pm me. I'm always available

after nearly 22 yrs of using - I am happy to say day 13 since last reaching for a can is almost over.
I have set out in the past to quit but never stuck to it, I have done the, if I can get thru this week, If I can make it to this date, I should be good which of course never worked.
But reading here (wife actually found the site for me) it's one day at a time - tackle today, don't think about tomorrow or next week.
Must say, putting that to use has really helped me focus on beating the cravings and changing my routines.

so here's to finishing today without that crap in my system, and continuing along this path
Nice work on the 13 days LA. I'd suggest posting roll immediately in the February quit group and introducing yourself to you quit brothers. Read as much as you can on this site, learn from all of the awesome quit veterans here, and post roll daily promising to quit for today. The power of this site is in the quit brothers that reside here - new and veterans. We got your back. You gotta want it.
