Great decision, but as you found out 3 years ago - it doesn't really matter how long we quit because we are all still addicts. Here at KTC we quit every damn day, one day at a time. Share digits in your quit group so that when you miss a day, like you did today, someone will track you down and make sure that you are still quit. With no accountability you are more likely to fail than not.

I quit with you today. Stranger999 day 858.
Along with what everyone else has mentioned, start reaching out and getting some contacts, both within your quit group and from others willing to take the time to help you. I'll be honest, your subtitle line pissed me off. You're scared of a fucking can? Man up son, you've got this if you want it. But YOU have to WANT it. You have to be your biggest reason for quitting. We all walked the road of trepidation in the beginning. We all had to embrace the suck. It will make you better on the other side. I quit with you today and every day you decide to put on your big boy pants and show up.

"I threw the can away and I'm scared"

You are not alone. I did the exact same thing over nine years ago. Felt the same damn way. Now I'm free. You have no idea how great it is.

You can do this!

Hey Keith! Glad to have you here!

We quit cold turkey here. If you have any chew, dip, cigarettes, cigars, nic patches, whatever - toss 'em. Ideally, dump them in the toilet, piss on them, then flush. Put nicotine out of reach, and take it off the table.

Your next step is to post roll in the April quit group. Roll is our way of promising each other that we will not have nicotine for the day. We post roll every day here. Our system is pretty simple. Wake up, post roll, and keep your word for the day. Then, the next day, do it all over again.

Get on over to April, post your promise, and then keep it. It's hard, yes. But there's thousands of us here to show you that it's not impossible.

Hi my name is Keith. I chewed for many years and I had quit for 10 Years. I got stressed out and stuck a dip in my mouth 3 years ago saying it was only going to be for a couple weeks. 3 years later here.

This is the last house on the block for me and IÂ’m here because I have been addicted to Nicotine/Chew and really donÂ’t want to go back and need help  support and donÂ’t know where else to go.

I found this site and want to stay connected here.

Chew is the Demon and has owned me for a long time. With help—NO MORE!
