Welcome. 45 days on your own is badass.

Nice job posting roll. Do that early every morning no matter what. Make your promise, keep your promise. It's that simple.

95% of your intro is great. It's a small 5% that I urge you to reconsider...

For my grandfather, my 3yr old daughter, and the rest of my family.

Do this for yourself. Period. That it will make things better for your daughter and family is icing on the cake. But unless you are selfish, and quit because you want to quit, because you're sick and tired of being a slave to the can, you will not be successful.

Day45 and never looking back

Hello everyone, my name is rick. New here and love the support, on day 45 and not looking back. Not really a feelings or a sharing kind of guy but here's my intro to my addiction.

Been dipping a can - can 1/2 A DAY for about 5 or 6 years now. And 45 days ago was the final straw. Woke up with a canker sore and that was enough to sketch me out for good. Threw all my cans away and went in cold turkey.(sence then been to the dentist and said everything looks good and normal)

I would have thought watching my grandfather die of mouth cancer was enough but nope still did it for another 7 months after I watched it kill him, turning him from 150pounds to 100lbs if that in 3 months because he couldent eat it hurt so bad. Listening to all the moans and groans twords the end because he couldent talk watching him lay there like a zombie because he got so weak untill a few days befor christmas last year the suffering ended.

So here I am making my pledge to never use that shit again.
For my grandfather, my 3yr old daughter, and the rest of my family. Sorry it took so long.

The one thing that keeps replaying in my head like a broken reacord are theese few words he said to me "I THOUGHT I FELT SOMETHING IN MY MOUTH, BUT I WAS TO AFRAID TO SAY ANYTHING"
