You should be in on your quit group page posting there if you need help. You should be requesting digits from people so they can help you. You got this man!

Dude... you absolutely know tomorrow ALWAYS breeds another tomorrow. Us addicts always find just the right excuse for "quitting today will be a better idea tomorrow".

It's an endless cycle we all know too well.

Break it.
Be free.

Do it right now. By the 29th you'll be 4 badass days in instead of still waiting for tomorrow to come.

Do it now, bro. You won't regret it...
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.

I'm not eloquent with words so here it goes...

I usually do not ask for help...so this is very hard for me. I can generally do things on my own.

I am an addict and I can't do this on my own. I like dipping but I know I've got to quit before its too late. I have used smokeless tobacco for a lot of years and it has been my crutch. I don't use illegal drugs, I don't really drink (maybe once or twice a year) but I use smokeless tobacco. As I am finding out this addiction can be just as bad.

After reading your comments in other sections of this site, I have decided to move my quit date up to 1/29/17. I want to put this crap down forever. I have a 13 years old son that thinks the world of me. I am scared to death that he will pick up this habit. I hate myself sometimes because I use tobacco.

I am surprised by the emotions that I am feeling as I write these words. Had to close my door. Never really put myself out there like this...so I'm nervous and scared. But I know I'm doing the right thing.
Move your quit date up to 1/25/2017 and start right now! Why wait? Man, I was in your shoes for 15 years saying "I'll quit next week after the super bowl" only to start back up two days later and then "I'll quit after Valentines day" and then "I'll quit after my birthday" and "I'll quit on April Fools day"...that is the addict mind tricking you into being "ready" because right now you aren't when actually YOU ARE!!! Dump it now...nicotine never helped anyone with anything...EVER!!! If it did, it would be written about all over medical journals how great it is and how it help people. It doesn't help at all...it is a poison cancer causing death weed. Do it today man! It is like breaking out of prison...hard at first but then the freedom comes.

Quit today! Do it but only do it for yourself...not wife, kid, family, job...do it for YOU! It will literally SAVE YOUR LIFE!!!
Good...good, let the quit flow through you!  -chewie

Hey Cone, Brian is correct. Totally missed the Jan 29th "Future" date. THought it read 23rd. Anyway you and I both know that dates of "planned" stoppages never work. They come and go.
Go on over to that link. Toss all you dip and quit with us today NOT the 29th. You will never regret quitting today

Cone, I am 8 days into this thing. Not going to lie, it is tough. I am trying to break a 35 year addiction. I know that this is the only place this is going to happen. First few days are the toughest. I am sure you have your reasons for putting your quit date out to the 29th. that is the addiction talking. quit today, quit now and lets get to day 2 tomorrow. PM me if you want my digits. Here to help as others are helping me.
