Come to Colorado and fish! Sure come on down! Right now I have a head cold going on and cough drops are amazing! They should bring me into day 3! As for the fog coming up I don't know how I am going to battle it. Just taking it one day at a time! Thanks all for the support!
Here is what you are going to do when the fog sets in today... You are going to do exactly what you did yesterday. Wake up, post roll... then do whatever the heck it takes to stay clean today. Caving is not an option today! Hold your quit brother! You can do this. I am quit with you all day!

Congrats on a great choice, Michael. And congrats on the CDL. Quitting isn't easy. But it is a whole lot easier than jaw removal, feeding tubes and chemotherapy...just guessing.

One thing that might really help your quit is if you would invite your new buddies on KTC to come to Colorado for trout fishing. Actually, I'm not sure if that would help at all. But it would sure entertain me.

You got this, brother!

Thanks got the support. Day 2 is really getting to me. I am drowsy and want to sleep! Cure was Copenhagen, now I don't know
Ya, sleep may be pretty effed up for a bit, but it comes back. You will survive.
As for Jerky, as the others have said, as long as it isn't nic-infused jerky, knock yourself out. Lots of folks here have tried many things, keep trying until something gives you some relief, or you don't care anymore.
You are doing this brother. You are quit.
Keep it up

Is shredded beef jerky a good alternative?
Make this quit your number one goal. I mean, place this quit above all other priorities in your life. My advise is chew gum like there is no tomorrow. Be ready for the fog because it IS coming.

Bro... As long as you're staying away from ANY nicotine, it's all good. I'll repeat... Atomic Fireballs. Get some! Day 216 for me and I eat those everyday! Rock on...
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.

This quit is going to be hard because you're addicted to a truly sneaky nasty drug. Stock yourself up on any alternative you can get your hands on... Herbal dip, gum, seeds, atomic fireballs (my fav), etc. Drink. Alot. Flush your body and help your detox along. 3 days... That's what it takes to have your body free of nicotine. You got this man. Stay strong, stay focused. Freedom is so damn cool bro... Welcome to KTC.

Hello
« on: November 17, 2013, 09:48:00 AM »
Hello everyone! I am Michael and I have been chewing Copenhagen for 9 years. I started when I was 21 while I was on the Navy. I started for a really immature reason and realize that I have now became a slave to the can. However today is the first day and did not wake upand put a chew in right after waking up!

I am from Colorado and love the mountains. However I work a lot back east in KY, TN, WV, PA, and travel a lot. Just yesterday I passed the CDL driving skills test and will be driving. This quit is going to really hard difficult because I usually chew while on the road! However I think I have found a lot of support here! Pure awesomeness!

I am looking forward, to meeting and working with everyone.

Thanks and have a great day!

Michael
