Wiks, great work brother. I am proud to be a Duck with you. I love your note too. Perhaps you can shore up Pihl with Odes. I hope that you stick around with all of us.

Wiks made it to the train!!!! Nice job.....................

I am 44 with a wife and 3 kids. I have been dipping and/or doing some form of nicotine for 25+ years. I have quit nicotine probably 30+ times. However this time it really feels different. The people of this website helped shine a light and make me realize that I am an addict. And I have to fight the fight everyday. I can't cheat or I will lose. It is inevitable. I have only written a handful of poems in my life. For some reason, I was inspired to write one about The Quit. Here goes it.... Later, Wiks

The Quit
by Wiks

I awaken with boiling blood through my veins
Where are you? I want you, I miss you, I need you today
Zip, rip, twist and dip
AaaahhhhÂ….. there you are, take the buzz away

Coffee and cereal as morn has come
I want you again, I miss you, I need you
Throw one in, dip and spit
Our journey continues

From sunrise to moonrise the juice keeps flowing
The tingle comes and goes. I want to break free. I am at the brink
She wants me, she misses me, she fools me
She comforts me once again or so I think

The morning comes. The light has shown. I have awoken
I will stand my ground and will not sit
The bitch will be slayed but never forgotten
For I AM an addict and today I QUIT

Great Job Wiks! Remember to drink the quit koolaide daily and keep fighting the good fight!

I just remembered how much Day 2 blows!!!! The fog is thick. I can't concentrate. But I'm pretty sure day 3 will be ALOT better than day 2 and day 1. I feel mentally strong though. I will stick it out.
Hang in brother, I know it sucks. I'm on Day 3 now and it's better than Day 2, I k now from experience that nothing sucks more than having to do Days 1 and 2 multiple times. Hit me up if you need someone to vent with, Octobers gotta stick together!

Proud to be quit with you brother.
You can do this Wiks.
When you're going through hell.....keep on going...

It gets so much better, day 1,2,3,4,5....... Really suck... Which is why we call it the suck... It sure doesn't last forever though and once you feel that fog start to lift life will be getting back on track for ya and a dip free life is the best life!!! If you need anything at all feel free to pm me.

You sir have made a great choice, in not only Quitting, but finding this site! Take all the support you can get, post roll everyday,  find some dip substitutes. Do those 3 things  there's no way you go back to that dirty Nic bitch. Congratulations on being a quitter, not a stopper
