Good call.

I've tried to quit with a date before a few times and ended up dipping 2-3 tins the day before my quit date. Makes the crash that much harder.

Hello,

I have tried to quit over the past week on my own without success. I managed to get through the last 24 hours without a dip which was quiet an experience. I had no idea tough this would be or how irritable quitting would make me! I am typically a really laid back guy but I wanted to rip a construction dude's head off that is working on house next to mine for leaving a banana peel in the street! I'm serious, I was more pissed off than I have been in a really long time which would not have been very cool at all had I acted on my emotions. That is when I caved in and opened up my standby Copenhagen can that I shouldn't have had on me in the first place. I let myself down and I gave in to my addiction once again. I had once thought that this was simply a habit but it is very clear to see that I am addicted and I am going to need the support of this site to help get me through.

I am in the military and they have recently issued me the drug Chavix but due to all of the possible side effects, I am going to quit nicotine without the use of yet another drug. So which quit group will I belong to?

V/R,

Lee
Lee welcome to the site!
April 1st is my quit date Thursday will be 1 year for me. It does not get easier by waiting. If you quit today the Nicotine will be almost out of your system by Thursday. This place will help you but ONLY YOU CAN QUIT!! No one else here can quit for you we have been through this there is no good day just do it get it behind you. I guarantee you getting mad today will not be the only time get in here vent raise hell whatever. Just no more dip. Thanks for your service to this country!

You can do this dump the can flush it whatever just get rid of it and stay quit.

"I'm going to quit on April Fools Day?" I can't help but wonder if you're fucking with me.

I agree with these guys, though. If you're not serious enough about quiting to do it right now, what makes you think you'll be more dedicated on Thursday?

Make it happen, bro.

Welcome.

1. Why wait until the 1st? Start now.

2. Read everything on this site.

3. PM me and my number is yours. You call me before you cave AGAIN.

4. Sack up and time to get this done.
Yo dude, history usually says that anyone who designates a certain date to quit will fail. The reasons are obvious and self-explanatory.

I can say that just about 99.9% of guys in here, all wickedly addicted to dip, like you, just one day decided to put down the can, come here, and quit.

It's not easy. You will feel rage. This is all common. We will help you.

Save yourself the 2 days, and do it now. Right now. Today is a great day, my anniversary!!! One year ago I quit. If I can do it, so can you....

Based on a quit date of April 1, you'd be part of July 2010
