Welcome to KTC Kandice, you are surrounded with a lot of quit!

First days will be the tough one's. Your brain has to get re-wired for a life without poison.

Get your supplies ready.. Water, Lots! Seed, gum , candy , fake chew whatever you need to get your mind off the dip.

Get accountable, its huge in how your quit will work. Read HOF's get into live chat, whatever you need to do. I quit with you today, and we will do it again in 24 hours. It's how we do it.

I see you already posted roll! That is awesome!! May I ask, based on your name I'm guessing you might be a woman? My apologies if that's not the case! We have very few women here but we have formed a strong sisterhood and would be happy to welcome a new quitter!

I'll leave the rest if the encouragement and description of the suck and the fog to the guys. I quit smoking, never used smokeless and I have loads of respect for everyone who breaks that chain and takes back their freedom.

Welcome!

Like you have heard on the other thread...you have come to the right place. The process is easy...wake up, post roll, promise not to use any nicotine that day and keep your word. Like i said the process is easy...quitting is hard. One day at a time kandice...and in your case, like it was in mine, maybe one hour at a time...or even less. The first few days will be like a roller coaster ride, and this site will be your harness. Reach out...quit on...
Boy I sure could use a beer right about now!

This site can help you kick your nicotine habit to the curb. We don't use words like try or hope as they are just another excuse for our addictive brains to tell us another lie. There are no short cuts, but here are some links that will help you navigate this site.

This a NO NICOTINE site. End of discussion. Why this Site Works

Biggest thing to do is get acquainted with this site.

Highly recommend you go here: Welcome Center, Getting Acclimated and What to Expect

Your quit Decision MUST be 100% about you. Anything short of that sets you up for failure by allowing your addict brain to blame a given situation as reason for you to go back to the can. Quitting out of fear of a medical issue fades as soon as the doctor or dentist gives you a clean bill of health.

My name is Kandice, I have gone 37 hours now with no nicotine. I quit smoking at the beginning of the year after smoking for 15 years, and now I have decided that it is time to ktc, after 10+ years. I have dipped Copenhagen, long horn, and skoal anywhere from a can a day to a can and half. My head is pounding and feeling like I am walking through pea soup fog.
