Hey everyone. Been doing smokeless tobacco for 21 yrs, also I'm female. Trying to quit but find it very hard
You will have a mountain of support in your corner if you quit now. But you have got to want to quit. Its going to get rough but you can do it. We are all proof that it can be done. But you have to get it started by dumping your can and posting roll saying that you will not dip today. Just think in 3 days the nicotine will be out of your system. From there on it will all be a mental thing and you will be well on your way to your new long and prosperous life.

The choice is your's....
And the choice is ......??

It really is not that hard. We all know and have known how to quit forever. Don't put that shit in your mouth. Really, it is that easy and it gets easier every day you do it, or don't do it.

If you really want to quit, you will. This site will help you stay quit. It will suck. You will live in an irritable fog. But fight through it...embrace the suck. The pain is your body taking its life back.

Nic doesn't give up easy. But there are no short-cuts...cold turkey is the way. I didn't take Chantix, so I don't have personal experience, but it doesn't appear to work. Just jump in with body, mind and spirit and live nic free.

Even when it is out of your sytem, you will have craves and dip dreams. So try to have fun with it...like I said, embrace the suck!!!

Read the posts on this site, read all of the information you can find. You must throw away the can now, and quit forever, starting immediately. There will never be a "good" time to quit, so just do it and get it done. Post your name on roll call for Feb.2011, and get it started. Your life is more important than anything else.

You are in the right place, except there is no try here, only quit. I am 38 days into my quit and never thought I would get this far. This site makes it, read all you can, go to every section of the boards, find your month (February) and start posting roll (your promis that you wont dip that day). Quit for you and nobody else, but most of all, listen to the vets on this site, many have been quit for a long time and can give you tons of advice, and let you in on what is comming up.
