1 year/365 days quit.
My one year quit happy coincided with a routine dentist appointment so it felt good to get a check-up and tell them that I am 1 year clean.
I still think about chew once in a while, walking through a grocery store or seeing a can while visiting my dad. Any thoughts about it is quickly followed by I AM NEVER GOING BACK! I have my promise on roll, my cellphone full of digits and my family to think about.
Lastly, I am happy to be quit and a member of the great community here on KTC.
See you tomorrow and the next day after
Congrats on one full trip around the sun, without shit in your teeth!
Thanks Pinched,
I've said it once and I'll say it again

May 19, 2015 -275 days quit

Well it has been a while, still quit, still strong in my resolve. I am enjoying my November quit group, we are keeping a solid group of guys together in there, some are approaching 300 and we will all hit 1 year in august. Some folks are fading but I know from experience I cannot, I will be here, each day.
My mouth feels good, at times I worry but feeling good in my quit and oral care.

We are selling our house and buying a new one, stressful at times yes, is chew ever the answer nope... Never again.

My dad has continued health problems, still chews and when I visit I am saddened by the stack of cans. I wonder what will get him first, diabetes, his heart or chew?

On a bright note, oldest son will be going to kindergarten this fall, my youngest is happy and healthy and my wife amazing.

I have lived in North Idaho and Eastern Washington my whole life and I have never had a truck or four wheel drive. But this fall I will be buying one, I am looking forward to keeping it clean and to have not have chew in the carpets.

Proud to quit with everyone and my SCQers,
Idaho Spuds
Congratulations spud, sounds like great things going for you. Tell your Father he's never to old to quit! Nothing like a brand new truck and an awesome family! Stay quit my friend and take time in life for the little things. Life comes and goes and kid's grow up before you know it. I wish I would have quit dipping when my kids were young, they were cheated alot because of my slavery! Damn proud to be quit with you today my brother!
Great comeback story, Spuds, it's very inspiring. Thanks for keeping us updated and thanks for the glorious avatar.
Proud to be quit w/ you dude!
Looking forward to seeing you around for a long time to come, buddy. Not just for your TTBT wizardry ;)

March 9, 2015 Idaho Spuds - 204

Quit is strong! just ticked over 200 days quit, glad to sign up for 300. latest dentist appointment went great, gave me a good looking over, all good.
I still think about chew, mouth cancer, and have the occasional crave but I am strong. My latest crave was painting trim and I thought this is boring, you know what I used to do to make it more exciting... silly thought, chewed on a toothpick, and played ball with the kids, instead.

It is busy tax season, where I caved last year, but not even a option this time just cranking out financials and tax work.

Thanks to everyone on KTC and Jabr has been especially solid in my quit. Proud to quit with you all.
Cheers, and quit on!
Charles
