Hey C.D!

It's funny how nicotine somehow tricks its users into to making them believe its an anti-depressant, an anti-anxiety, or some sort of emotional bandaid. As you pointed out, the logic just isn't there.

Problem - Stressing about the ex/about work/about kids/about anything.
Solution - Put leaves in mouth...?

WHAT?!

That was my answer too for 13 years. Glad we both wised up!
Don't ever go back, you will see through the healing that it was most if not all your health issues. Don't think anyone can prove it's good for you! Quit on my friend!
Absolutely roflmao . I realized also as I approach 30 days... partially the reason why I was so stressed is because I wouldn't really deal with my problems and just throw in said leaves 'finger point'

Welcome C.D.! Proud to be quit with you. May I ask why you started up again after being 2 years quit?
Likewise E=

The answer to your question is as useless and pathetic as the long list of any other addict-talk excuse that's ever been given.

A sleepless night, thinking about the ex, needed to quiet my mind, so logically 'drool' I decided to drive to the store and put poison in my mouth. That'll make everything better! roflmao

What will you do differently this time?
Thanks for the greetings guys!

Great question Thumblewort. What will I do differently. Now that I'm part of this brotherhood, naturally I'm going to reach out to my brothers for strength if I need it. I didn't have that when I decided to toss nearly 2 years out the window! 'no' I've discarded the idea that it's a sign of weakness to rely on the man next to you if you need it. Dumb!

Welcome CD. Post roll every single day, drink lots of water, and read everything your eyes can manage on here. By understanding your enemy, you can win this battle. One day at a time (ODAAT), you can do this.
"Fuck nicotine dude. You don't need it. And you don't want it. It didn't do a thing for you and you know it." - worktowin
"today you dissided that shit wont control your life. and it wont. unless you let it." - drome
"Not thinking about nicotine is for people who've never used nicotine. We threw that option away with the first dip or drag on a cigarette. We are addicts, and cannot become un-addicted." - wildirish317
"You need to decide how much you really want to be quit." - pky1520
We are always at risk. And probably always will be. That is why I will never get "too quit" to post my +1. Every. Damn. Day. - geis2597

Good to have you here. Can you believe you started this shit again? Commit to the quit. We've all made those mistakes and it doesn't get easier so commit to it permanently.

Well, you stopped for a while, which isn't quit. It also is normal around here to stop in the past.

Post roll every damn day with the January DOGs, exchange digits and quit today. Repeat tomorrow.
