You have already gotten the poison out of your system and have only the mind games left to battle. Exercise is a great way to deal with stress so the gym will help you. All the previous bad asses have told you how to use KTC to help yourself: Welcome Center has the 101 info. Post roll with dec. and get involved: PM your quitgroup members for some phone #'s. Print out a contract to quit and wrap your money and credit cards in it; stare at cancer pics and read the stories of the horrible end game nicotine addiction brings... Read everything on KTC: intros, HOF speeches, words of wisdom, etc., and stay as close to the website as you can. I found it hard to contemplate caving if I was in live chat or reading, and the wildcard section can be a good distraction. Own your quit! The only way you will end up with another fat wad of poison stuffed in your gob is if you put one there...

Welcome. Do not dwell on past regrets. Quit in the present and let the future bring what it may.

Welcome aboard. Look up at the top left hand side of your screen and you wll see the salmon colored WELCOME CENTER button. Open it and start reading all the various posts, but pay close attention on how to post roll. After you have read that link, go post roll in December 2013 quit group. That is your new group and they will welcome you accordingly. You are in the December group because when you are 100 days free of nicotine, you will be in December to celebrate your Hall of Fame anniversary. I have sent you a PM with my telephone number, so call it if you need to rage, vent or talk to someone. Congrats again. Wayne

Jeff,
Now that you are free from nicotine you should post roll with your quit group. Posting roll call each day is the most important thing you will do here.

Go to the welcome center link at the top of the page and learn what roll call is and why we do it each day.

Here is the link to the December 13 Quit Group which you now are a part of here.

Learn as much as you can by reading all of the info on this site. Exchange contact numbers with as many brothers as you can. Post roll right away.

I look forward to the battle ahead and we will fight it together one day at a time.

-Ron

Hi my name is Jeff, im 25 and have been dipping for 6 years now. ive tried to quit over a dozen times and the longest i have made it was at the beginning of this year for 53 days and then I lost control.... it sucked. I quickly returned to my normal dipping amounts of at least a can a day.

I havent had a dip since monday, I know how hard this road is going to be an im looking forward to any advice or support you guys can give.

I remember every single thing about the time i put my first dip in, who i was with, where i was, what we were doing, what we were talking about......god i wish i never tried it.

what really helped me at the beginning of this year was the gym, I have gotten back into a gym routine and im hoping that will help me deal with the stress that comes along instead of relying on dip...
Welcome aboard. You've found the right place. Read all you can
