Hello all, Casey checking in and excited to be part of the community. 50 days since my last dip, but more importantly, 15 days since my last nicotine lozenge. This is the third time I have endeavored to quit. The last time I couldn't get off of the lozenges and existed in a highly vulnerable state for a year until just the right opportunity presented itself and I was hit over the head with a Copenhagen can. The time before I played all kinds of games with blending fake chew, patches, nicorette, cigarettes and I don't really know if I ever got nicotine completely out of my system despite a 6 month run without dip. Not sure how I got to be 36 so fast but more alarming, I have to come to terms with the implications associated with a 22 year nicotine addiction. In light of the facts, this is the time and I am grateful to have two weeks behind me. I look forward to the fellowship and supporting others struggling with this terrible substance.
