Welcome to the New You! Hey, guess what! This is going to suck :)

Good news! You are not alone...August 2011 and all these fine Quitters are in your corner bud.

Get angry man. UST has been lying to you and now you have to rewire your brain.

Enjoy :)...And keep that shit out of your face.

Morning.  My name is Dan and I had my last dip of delicious Redseal wintergreen yesterday at noon.  I am 28 years old, and have been chewing this shit since my sophomore year in high school.  I have a beautiful wife and our first child due in August.  Quitting dip is the last piece of the puzzle.  I know this is gonna be tough, and I'm already feeling it bad right now.  I am hoping that we can fight through this together.
Don't feel bad...feel liberated.

And it's not delicious...it's fucking poison. Romanticize and fail.

Welcome to the site Learn How and Why we post Roll Call. Make sure you undertand #4 before you attempt #3.

Again, welcome to the rest of your life.
Morning, Dan. I am fairly insulted at the "delicious ......" comment. That has no place on this forum. I agree with LOOT that to be successful, you must stop romanticizing dip. It is the enemy from here on out. And honestly, I thought I enjoyed tobacco until one day I realized it just didn't have the same effect that it once did. The joy was gone. I was constantly packing my lip, but getting no satisfaction out of it anymore. It was just feeding an addiction at that point. That was 252 days ago and I quit that day. Yes, just a small number compared to LOOT (TOOL??) and some others around here, but I'm proud of my quarter comma. I say all that to make this point: I sincerely hope that the coming days find you filled with only loathing for tobacco, UST, and everything related. It will make your quit much easier. Let me know if I can help any way.
Dan, I thought it was delicious, too. It's not. I've been to some pretty nice restaurants in my day, but none had skoal on the menu. I've never had anyone tell me to try a new place because the copenhagen souffle was to die for.

Keep reading this site. You do not enjoy dipping. You need to dip to feed your nicotine addiction. Make the decision that you will not allow another day to go by as a slave to nicotine, post roll and do whatever it takes to keep nicotine out of your body for the day.

Good to be quit with you. Give a shout if I can help.
