Thanks for the welcome. Yes, I have read most of the threads in the welcome center, and am now reading in the words of wisdom forum.

I'm still hanging in there, today the battle is pretty much minute by minute.
I like that you are fighting minute by minute, that means you dead serious about this. Day 3 was the worst day for many of us here, and then it gets better. Freedom is worth fighting for Trow.
30 years of feeding a neurotoxin to your brain versus 3 days... You are right on track! Things will get better. Freedom is a sweet thing. Minute by minute each win will lead you to a sense of freedom that hasn't been yours since you were a teen. Hang in there man... You can do this. There are a lot of us with stories similar to yours that found the answer here at ktc. One day at a time!

Great decision, Tr0w. It WILL get better. There's too many folks on here that are living, breathing proof of it. Just keep grinding.

Drink water.

Consider a multivitamin.

Sunflower seeds/beef jerky/gum/fake dip eg Smokey Mountain available at WalMart.

4th or 5th day you should feel a deep calm when you realize how much free time is in your life and mind now that you don't need to dip or think about dip anymore - fill that space with QUIT!

Saw you posted roll brother, good on you ... that's the cornerstone of KTC. Keep plowing along, making it minute by minute if need be. Then hour by hour, then day by day. There is a reason everyone here preaches "ODAAT" (one day at a time). In the beginning, we just need to battle through the present. Make it through today. You've posted roll ... so you've promised yourself and all of us here at KTC that you WILL NOT use nicotine in any form today. Be a man of honor and integrity, and follow through on that promise. It get's easier, I promise! It's been said before ... it'll suck until it doesn't. We are here for you bro. PM me if you need anything, quitting with you today.
My personality is who I am, my attitude depends on who you are.

Welcome aboard. Did you read the welcome center yet? If not, definitely check that out. We also recommend reading the words of wisdom and HOF speeches.

You will definitely do this. Just be a man of honor and stick with us. It's easy. ODAAT is the key.

Quitting Copenhagen
« on: November 28, 2014, 07:58:00 AM »
Hi all, I'm new here.

I am quitting Copenhagen snuff after a 30+ year addiction.
Back in the early 2000's I managed to quit for about a year, but eventually found a lame excuse to start again.

I used about a can per day, and didn't spit too often. I'm now in my forties and getting real tired of this shit. Time for a change.

My last chew was around 11:00 am on Wednesday, the 26th. It's Friday the 28th as I write this, so this will be my 2nd full day without, but my third day of quit.

My head is kind of swimming this morning, so it's good that I don't have to work today.
I'll post to the roll-call thread, and then go do some more reading on this site.
