I may have rubbed ole davy the wrong way in a recent PM exchange.  Let's just say that he and I disagree on the importance of posting roll.  Anyway, I think he packed up his toys and went home.  Damn shame.

If you have digits or email, reach out and make sure he stays quit.
If "old Davey" doesn't understand the importance of roll then he doesn't belong here
Ol Davey has posted up in Lite. I saw him cleaning out his locker mumbling something about "whose side are we on anyway". Hopefully Lite Roll will not be so abrasive on his delicate butterfly feet. But, if he just touches down every few days they (his butterfly feet) should be ok in my professional opinion. Might need some little crocheted booties though.

Hi everybody,  thanks for the support i will recieve.  I have been dipping various products, mostly copenhagen, for over 30 years.  Before I went to college, Before I got married, Before I had kids, the Nic Bitch was a part of me.  I tried to hide her, but everybody knew.  And now,  everything is different.   Divorced for four months, no more hiding or running away to have a dip. It's great.  but its not.   And plus health insurance is going up 30.00  a month since I am a tobacco user.  Thats like 7 cans of Cope!
Enough.
I have tried to quit before, and made it a few days, this time I will quit.  If I fall down, I will pick my self up, reflect on previous journeys, and take that first step again.
I have found the resources needed,  the stories of what has happened to others, and what might happen to me,  and am prepared.
I actually quit before I found this site.  Had been threatening that this was my last can, and refusing to purchase.   So on Friday,  I had about 1/4 can left, and told myself - no sense in waiting, just quit.  I pitched it in the trash, and will not look back.  Only forward.
thanks for being here for me and others.

Dave I'm also a cope snuff addict for over 38 yrs. I agree w/ you in most everything except: If I fall down, I will pick my self up. That statement leaves you a opening for a cave! If you post early everyday and keep your word you won't have to pick yourself up. Your post was spot on! Read everything you can, quit 1 day at a time. Integrity is most important, be a man of honor. My name is John Baker I will be 27 next month, I started smoking when I was 16 then got on the dip at 19 trying to quit the smoke. I'm sure y'all know how that worked. I smoked more and used about a can a week for years till smoke did nothing for me anymore and I had a dip in all the time unless i was eating.

But that is behind me now. I spit it out for the last time at 4:30 pm Friday. I did it for a lot of reasons but main two was that little lady that I'm going to mary this fall asked me to and second I had been looking for a reason and a push for some time.

Friday night was hard but I made it, then Saturday came and with it pain, anger, rage, shakes, and blowing up at the little lady I'm doing it are for. I couldn't take it any more and no I didn't ?buy any snuff, I got some nic patches. But know I fill like a cheat. Were do I go from here ?

And quiting-davy we can do this man.
Johnboy, it is cheating. You're cheating yourself out of the most glorious life you've ever imagined by continuing to use nicotine. You can do it but it requires you to quit using all forms of nicotine. Period. You will never quit if you don't ever....quit.

So join us, throw away those expensive ass patches, change your post in September to DAY 1, and make that your solemn promise to all of us, that you will not use nicotine in any form today.

Denny
We all stood at the same turning point Davy...you did it man. Now just do it for today, stay close to the site, get some numbers...CALL THEM, and stay nic free till bedtime. You can do it man, you have everything you need...
