Welcome to KTC Young. I also started around that age, (14) I'm 50 now. I've been trying to Quit for nearly 36 years. Over the last 8 or 9 years I had given up hope that I could Quit and stay Quit. It seemed ridiculous to try anymore. I found this site and thought "how the hell could posting roll and being involved in a support group be of any help at all? But I figured I had nothing to lose so, I might as well jump in with both feet. To my shock, I've been Quit longer than I've ever been able to Quit before. And the biggest difference between this time and the last time I tried to quit........I truly believe I'm Quit for good this time where as the last several times, I felt like it was only a matter of time until I feel on my ass again.
A word of warning about your "journey to 100 days". Yes, we make a big to do about 100 days here, because we consider it the 1st of many milestones, so we celebrate it. Making it to 100 is no small accomplishment. But we're not cured at 100 days. There are a lot of tough days out there beyond 100, beyond 200 days, and beyond 300 days.
I see you posted roll already. Awesome job! Post roll every day(we don't take weekends off!) and early in the day. WUPP (Wake Up Piss Post) is our motto. It's a promise to the group and yourself that you won't use nicotine in any form today, not a status update at the end of the day.
Share you digits with everyone in the group. Mine are on the way. Feel free to use them if you need anything
Proud to Quit with you today!
Let's do this
