I am in day 10 of my QUIT, and I just realized a recent change and was wondering if it may be connected to quitting Nicotine: I use to get, especially in the dry winter months, areas of skin on my face, especially around the eyebrows and sides of my nose, where the skin would always peel and flake off. I noticed yesterday when looking in the mirror that there was no dry skin, and same thing today. Could that be tied to the Nicotine being out of my system?
thanks for any feedback...

Also... stick to your original intro and use it for logging your questions and progress through your quit. We only get one. I'm sure a mod will be along to merge the two...
The benefit of having all your questions and fears on one thread is that you can go back in future days, weeks, months, and years and see how far you've come. I should try to find mine and re-read it. I was seriously freaked out for a long time with the strange changes to my body and mind, and it was the people here (and my dentist and doctor) who got me through and helped relax and take what comes with a light heart and good humor (mostly).

quitting nicotine does wonders for your circulation and your skin. No coincidences.

Add a healthy glowing complexion to your reasons to stay quit! B)B
The magical benefits of being quit and it probably helps that you aren't dehydrated and hopefully are drinking tons of water.

I am assuming you are on roll? and you know how it all works around here?

Listen to all the wisdom that will come your way. Take what you can use and leave the rest. Post roll every day. First thing in the morning, make your promise by putting it in your quit group and then keep your word. The road has been paved for you, if you follow it you will get your life back. It is very rewarding.

Today starts double-digits (10) days NIC free. It feels AMAZING
Congrats on day 10, SD! It does get easier, but you'll need to grit your teeth and bear it for a while still. Not trying to discourage you but simply be realistic, based on my experience as a 30-year chewer and dipper.

Stay strong! If I can do it, anyone can.
