Good Afternoon gentleman and ladies
So here I am another poor poor victim of dipping.. Just kidding, I am forever a sarcastic dude..
I dumped out the can of T-wolf straight yesterday.. Not the first time I have dumped out a can of chew. Started sneaking my dads skoal classic when I was about 10 or 11 and had a full blown habit by about 16, long cuts of wintergreen and straight, didnt matter the label.. I am going to be 33 on sunday. I have quit before for a few months and I remember how great it felt for that short period. I want that back. I have a wonderful wife, hilarious, perfect son of 2 and a great life. I am a super avid outdoorsman. I need to make sure I stay alive so I can fish and hunt the world with my son.
Been reading alot of forum posts here.. Its amazing how each of us has the same types of story with our addiction. There was one post from a guy (cant remember) that said he was super stealth ninja with his dips, thats me.. My wife was a dental assistant for a while and Ive got her so fooled.. how shameful.. My friends all know I dip , bout a can every 4 days, but wife and family dont, or they do and dont say a thing. My dad quit cold turkey at the age of 35. Crazy thinking back on it, lets see, I was stealin from him (cuz I was underage) and then the well of free chew dried up.. Anyways, pretty sure I cannot do this on my own. Tons of my friends still dipping but I am ready to be done and as a bonus my co-worker who dips is quitting also.. Receding gum lines, teeth that need fixed but I wont go to the dentist and be chastized for my secret habit..
Ugh, well I got a nice pinch of Smokey Mountain Peach in right now.. yum, got seeds, gum, jerky chew.. kinda shakey and uptight today..

Welcome Bones! Glad to see you have made the decision. Shout if you need anything.

By the way, my wife is dental assitant also. I too hid it from her for a few years before coming clean. No matter what strange things you think you have done... You are just a fresh face to an old story. We are all there. That is why this is the place to be for qutters.

Welcome and we will be watching for you.
