Hello,

Well I'm on Day 4 of my Quit after dipping for almost 30 years. Glad to have found the community and hope this is the successful attempt after too many failures in quitting before.

Going through and reading other posts about the lying, hiding in the toilet, running unnecessary errands, and finally blaming loved ones for not quitting when I get tired of hiding it just so I can dip in front of them (maybe just me on that last one); nice to see I'm not the only one.

Here's to being committed and making this the final Quit!!
I too was a 30+ year user.

Sweet! Just keep smackin that Nic in the face and spit on her when you go bye. Use the numbers and as others have said read, read, read. I hope I don't get fired for being on this site so damn much right now. I spend so much time logged in cause it keeps me occupied. I was a 20 yr man basically. I did stop for 3yrs but caved. Gotta stay on top and never, I mean never, ever, ever let your guard down. You gotta understand what you are. Which is an ADDICT just like me. Lets keep smakin that Nic together!

I quit with you today Tarheel. My number is in your box if needed.

No more shame for using, for choosing dip over others, it is time to take life back and serve others as we do it.

Keep reading, and reading, and reading! That has been the most helpful part of my quit to date. Knowing that I am not crazy, and that there have been thousands of others, who have done the same crazy things to have a dip, made me feel a whole hell of a lot better about quitting. Stay close to the site, get involved and reach out and get some support through the site. I quit with you today!
