Proverbs 18:2

"A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion."

A Quit Plan: Do you have one?

CLOSE THE DOOR. In my opinion, it?s the single most important step in your final quit. There is one moment, THE moment, when you finally let go and surrender to the quit.
After that moment, no temptation will be great enough, no lie persuasive enough to make you commit suicide by using tobacco. SportDad 1/13/05

Warm summer sun, shine kindly here;
Warm southern wind, blow softly here;
Green sod above, lie light, lie light.-
Good-night, dear heart, good-night.

Be silly, be honest, be kind

I am a new member and wanted to say hi to everyone. I chewed about 4-5 cans of Skoal Straight for 12 years. I am happy to say that I am on day 5 of my quit. As usual the first couple of days were tough, but things are getting better. I was fortunate enough to find this site yesterday. It is good to know that there are other people out there going through the same thing as me and it provides me with extra motivation knowing that others have succeeded. No longer do I want to be a slave to a stupid can.

ask questions and read everything you can get your hands on... as you've said, there are over 1,200 members of this site who are either right where you are or have been there before... we're with you my man!
