What happened?
-I started to work across country driving from state to state, I had a lot of free time to fill and I quickly got back into chewing. Also it doesn't help when all your Co workers chew. It seems like almost all commercial divers chew.
Why did it happen?
-Because I needed some kind of comfort while I was working on the road and chew has been my comfort away from home latley.
What are you going to do different this time?
-This time I'm going to focus on how much healthier I feel without chew, Instead of thinking how I should reward myself with it.

Get r done... no excuses. The cost of a can shouldn't dictate whether you're successful or not. I'm nearly 8 years quit and I'm still only $5 and a gas station away from my addiction. However, I make my daily decision not to be a slave... you can do.

KDF,

I think you'll be asked to post in August 14 AND your original quit group, and you'll need to answer these 3 questions and post the answers here and in your quit groups.

What happened?
Why did it happen?
What are you going to do different this time?
Think deeply my friend as those of us who remain quit today in Oct12 would like to see your responses and hope they are ones that you spend some time on internal thought.

and this time make those connections and friends so you finally stop poisoning yourself.

Hello my names Nikolai.

I was quit for over 6 months the last time I posted here. It was pretty easy to quit in Hawaii when a can costs 9 bucks. Right when I moved back to california I started chewing again, and I have been for the past year or so. This time it's really time to quit. I can't stand abusing myself this much.

How do u find my roll call?

Thanks.

Hello my name is Nick and I have been dipping for the past 4 years or so. Grizzly one of the strongest and roughest chews has been my choice since I started. I have never wanted to really quit... for the past 4 years. I have taken breaks to give my mouth a fighting chance. I know I can quite for up to 3 months because I have done it in the past. But today 7-23-12 I QUIT FOR GOOD. I am using an aide however, Jakes's chew will help me with the oral fixation I have grew accustom to.
Nick when I quit "quitting for good".. I started quitting like fuck one day at a time.. Sometimes an hour at a time.. Sometimes Only by the skin of my teeth! If I could've out muscled this addiction on my own you would've never seen my ass here.. It takes us all working together.. BUT if you are serious about this.. Maybe just maybe you can be a BADASS too.. Anybody can cave.. It takes a real bad mother fucker to crave and not cave! Only the strong survive here.. So you in? Gooch
Welcome aboard Nick. Understand this, OCt12 will make no compromises. We will quit and kill the addiction that has found us all here. You will post roll everyday, first thing after waking. You start your day with that mindset and continue it one day at a time. We are not experts, we just know how to follow SOP. Immerse yourself in the site, reach out to some vets for advice and hit us all up for contact info.

I say hit us up because I have seen in our group the ones who have reached out to each other have truly committed themselves day after day to their quit. The ones I reached out to, not so much and a high percentage of them have caved or not been heard from since.

So my question to you is, how bad do you want this? If I don't have a PM requesting contact info, I will have my answer. I know I speak for others in our group as well. Don't leave us hanging and QLAFM.

Welcome to the group Nick and although I am another newbie like yourself, these veterans here know what they are talking about.

Stay strong, make that daily promise and post, and stay true to the quit.
Sir Derek is a nicotine killer! He may be new but it doesn't take long to know how to be a genuine quitter.

The vets know how to quit. Do what they say with exactness. They may tear you down and build you up at times. Just put your trust in them because they have slayed the dragon day after day, month after month and year after year.

I drank my glass of kool aid. 132 days quit. Not a vet, but the vets coached me to my current undefeated record. I trusted the advise and did what I was told. I swear I would have caved without the training and brotherhood.
