Just a quick update for today. 2 o'clock half of my days work is done, no nic but that bitch is nagging me hard. Luckily I'm working with a good buddy who went through quiting cigarettes just about 2 years ago, and he is keeping me buried in welds so I don't have any spare time to think about it.

I can't even begin to describe how great it feels to get this monkey off my back. I will be staying close to the site today and every day I can. Have a great day today all you quiters
Stay close Randall and don't let your guard down! I'm on day 91 and I treat it just like day 1. Never show your weakness because nic bitch will capitalize! Remember if it gets rough and trust it will use all your resources that's what this all about. By 1 we are weak but together we are much stronger! We must be a team my friend! Let's defeat this together! Damn proud to be quit with you today my friend! Just an addict trying to help another addict!
Every day is Day one. If you've tried to quit before, you know that it's the romancing of the nic bitch and the weakening of your defenses with "I'll just have one" that ends up screwing you in the end. I KNOW that one dip of Cope or one puff of a cigar will have me back doing two cans a day in no time, and I'm pretty sure that this time it will kill me since I'll feel so defeated I may never try to quit again. Quit EVERY DAMN DAY. Complacency will be one of your hard battles of the many to come, but look today in the eye and deal with her. Tomorrow will be here when it's her time, and she'll bring whatever she'll bring. You got this.

I officially feel like I am part of killthecan.org now. I fucked up my first roll this morning! I think I got it all fixed. I will be spending about 8 hours this fine Sunday tig welding custom exhaust pipes for diesel vehicles. This is a big trigger for me. I have my pockets filled with mints, gum, fake dip and jerky chew. I will be checking back on the site often too gain the strength I need to fight that bitch today. Have a great day and stay strong you bunch of quiters
Lol! Fucking up roll is a rite of passage. If you did it right for a week you must be a tech genius!

Look forward to an update from you this afternoon. Almost without exception, the anticipation is much worse than reality. You'll make it fine welding, and you'll have a great time doing it. Welcome aboard.

Guess what, you got new family. KTC and your June Goon brothers. DO NOT HESITATE to reach out, even if you don't think you need to. Connect with Goons and Vets alike. We are all going through this together, might as well have fun with it. Quit one day at a time. No need to get all crazy and think about tomorrow. Just handle today and today I am quit with you, so we got this.

I started chewing when I was 14. I will be 31 in June, realizing you have spent over half of your life doing something that is taking your life is a real kick in the balls. I have been nicotine free for 4 days so far, not a lot but it's a big accomplishment for me. This site is great, I would like to thank everyone for the help I have received so far and the support I will need to continue. I want to see my kids grow up, and grow old with my wife. Stay quit!
Buckle up and be ready to fight. This is not easy, and we all have walked the path, it is very well worn. Start building your accountability and brotherhood.

KTC is the best investment one can make. It gives you the tools you have to decide what you want to build.
There are no circumstances in which using nicotine will improve the outcome.

My journey. The best part it is not over yet.
