If you are quitting for a job, you will fail. Quit for yourself, for all the obvious reasons. Drop the Chantix, buckle up, and suck it up for a while. You won't experience anything unique; you won't die. We all know what you are going to go through. Don't think about the future. Post roll and promise to quit for *one day*. Anybody can quit for a day. And then, tomorrow, wake up and do it again. Before you know it, it won't suck anymore.

I agree. Many of us have been there before, but our addict minds just told us to adapt and ninja dip or take whatever steps we needed in order to keep getting that damn nicotine. You've got a few days under your belt which is awesome. I suggest you look back on your life and examine each and every way which nicotine kicked you in the nuts. As your head clears, you start to see that nicotine controlled much of your life. Use these to develop the much needed hate for nicotine that will be required to really quit this shit. Head on over to the January 2017 Pre-HOF Quit Group and go balls deep. Post your promise EDD and get involved in the group. Turn the tables on nicotine once and for all.

I'm finally quitting this nasty habit. I've tried quitting multiple times in the past without success. I was layed off from my job back in early July. I took this opportunity to pursue my dream job at a national laboratory. Three months later I have landed the job. However, the campus restricts any tobacco use. I promised god and my family I would quit if I was blessed with the job. As of today I haven't had a chew for two days. I'm taking Chantix to curb the cravings. However I am still dealing with other withdrawal symptoms. All in all I feel pretty decent except for the fog. No turning back. I'm done with dip!
