Hi everyone,

I quit for the second time after 30 years. Started in high school. I liked Skoal original and started with Happy Days. Any of you remember that one.
Well, my Dad just Died from stomach cancer and my family needs me so I am going to quit for good. I have not chewed since February 20th , 2012. I am using a generic form of Welbutrin to help me kick this. It works great for me but it is a Pysc drug to help Bi-Polars and such so it wont work for everyone. Be careful and use a doctor if your going to try with this.

I am looking for a god alternative chew that is like Skoal Fine cut. I have tried MINT chew in spearmint flavor and thats the closest I have found so far. ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS I hate pouches so dont go there.

Anyways, I am glad to be here. I will need lots of help to get over a thirty year habit.

It is day..... 36...OMG! :o

quitb4,

Visit the Welcome Center at the top of the page and learn how to post roll. Here is the link...index.php?showtopic=50

Quitting is done one day at a time. You don't need Welburtrin. Pills and patches are for pussies. You're a bad ass quitter like us. We don't need that shit.

Cold turkey is the way to go. There are no short-cuts and nobody can do this for you. Feel the pain and embrace the suck. That is the feeling of your recovery. You can't buy your freedom no matter how much money you have. You have to earn it...one nic-free day at a time. Everyone on this site has done, or is currently doing, what you're doing right now. 37 days is awesome, but I'm just concerned about today. Fuck yesterday, fuck tomorrow.

Nobody can change the past. Nobody knows what the future may bring. But you can sure as shit control what you do today. You just give your word that no matter what happens today, you will not use any nicotine. That is the basis of posting roll. You can do this, brother...and you don't need drugs. Just gut up and start living free!!!

Water, excercise (even just walking), fireballs, seeds, fake stuff...whatever you have to do. Stay glued to this site and PM me if you need anything.

Hey man, I had to kick a long time addiction too. You have a great start with 36 days off the cancer weed. If you are looking for support, sign up in the May quit group. This is a promise to your group to quit for the day. For details hit the pink "welcome center" button on the upper left and do some reading.

I don't subscribe to the fake stuff, but if you look around, there are some reviews that might be helpful.

Pm me.if.you need help.
Welcome to May. Regarding fake chew, I use the Smokey Mountain Wintergreen. I like it over the Hooch. I chewed for 27 years and so far this has helped me get to 36 days free. PM me if you need anything.
Commit to the Quit.....Not to the shit!!!!
