Look guys I am not associated in any way with any ATC nor have I ever been. I work for a health research firm developing vaccines to help people. I dip and I actually and working on cutting back and quitting eventually. And I love what you guys are doing as for your site. But I do not love getting spam posts. We are a very small site most of us are friends in real life and many of us dip even tho our sites main focus is not dip. We do not have dip ads we only have ads for Clothing companies. So please all I ask is to leave us alone because we are a small community and do not advertise our site to anyone nor do we encourage others to dip (and we have never once had a tobacco or alcohol ad). We only want to be left in peace. I don't mind you hating my site all I am asking is to leave us in peace, we do not advertise anywhere and we just want a small peaceful and spamfree community. Like I said education posts and scientific posts are very welcome and I and all the members would happily read them, but spam is not.

Pete, we appreciate your concern about the spamming, we have had that happen here by members of pro dip sites more than you know. Send the ip's, it will be addressed. If you don't, as Ready mentioned, we will consider you suspect.

However, we do have a few rules that we live by here. One of them is to be nicotine free. If you are not nicotine free, you can post here in the intro section or in the quit cafe under general discussion. I see that you have posted under community polls, that section and all others are for members that have posted roll call and are nicotine free. We appreciate your consideration in this matter.

It appears that you've given some consideration to quitting. Maybe you should hop on board?

If somebody spammed your site I am sorry but I am 90% sure it was not one of our members, if however you suspect that it was please PM their static IP address and I will investigate and probably ban them becasue we do not tolerate that behavior on our site.
If you have a scientific or educational article please post it under the health section or the quit-support section of our forums. But please stop spamming us, it accomplishes nothing and just makes you look immature. As I said I gave a fair post and I am a laid back guy. All I ask is that it stops. Our site is a small close community mostly of friends from real life. I don't want to cause discontent in anyone's community. All I ask of anyone who is involved that they stop. I informed loot of this and said if it continues beyond tomorrow I will send the list of IPs (there are only a couple different IPs so it can't be more than a couple people). So whoever it is, all I ask is that you leave us be and I will drop it.
I already explained the contents of the site and showed that there is no reason to hate on us, sure we are a dip site along with many other topics but we are not affiliated in any way with any "industry" the only ads we rent are to jeans and clothing companies and we have only very small ad space.
Trust me I understand why you guys hate dip and it is an awful habit and I am quitting as we speak (I have not dipped in 24 hours and feel great). But you have a safe haven for quitting all we ask is to let us be trust me we are not an anti-quit site, in fact we have helped many members overcome the habit along with other diet and workout advice.
And I also explained if you do receive spam I am 99.9% sure it is not us. But I will be more than happy to review any spam IPs you have if you doubt me.

Pete, I see you are trying to quit and that is awesome. You have come to the right place. Just to clear up one thing though, we don't try here; we do. You really want to be quit like the rockstars in here? Flush that shit down the toilet and post day 1 in june.
Don't "cut back." Don't "set a quit date." That's just a line of bullshit. Flush it now. Be quit now.

You will get all the support you need to make sure you stay quit. You won't have to worry about spam, unless it helps you stay quit. We talk about sports, video games, boobs, whatever floats your boat. So long as you stay quit.

So if you want to quit, you have come to the best place for it. We will be looking for your day 1 in june.

I am sorry but I can't give out the URL, I explained to iuchewie in a PM why I can't.
Basically we are a small close community with under 100 hundred members we are all hard working and some of us dip and I am not looking for trouble. I agree some dip sites deserve to get spammed (IE: Dipnation is a site full of 14 year old racists) but I do not see how you can accuse us, a small independent forum site of being evil, we talk more about sports and video games than anything, I don't even know how you found our site. Most of us are friends in real life and we only wish to be left alone. As I said I am working on quitting myself I have been slowly cutting back, but I do not like spam of any kind no matter what your intention was. But please we do not appreciate half a days worth of posts being filled with spam.
Again I am not trying to start trouble I only ask that you leave us be. If you were the one spamming you know the site I mean so there is no need to post it, becasue I fear that will just open us up to more spam, plus we are trying to stay under 100 members becasue we want a small close community (again nothing personal).

Even if you all were DOS'd off the web, I still wouldn't feel any sympathy. Your industry has been responsible for the assisted suicide of fathers, mothers, husbands, wives and children.  You are a disease that needs to be eradicated.

You are the only industry, selling quit ads which is just as bad as you are taking advantage of others' addictions. Like I said I don't mind education debates, if you want to post health articles and research that is cool, but do not spam it is immature and witless and makes your side look worse. And also we have helped many of us quit, and I love helping people out but spamming any site is against internet etiquette.

I did not spam your site, but in your original post you claimed to moderate a DIP site, with no further information. The natural conclusion is that you moderate a site that supports the tobacco industry. As far as the "assisted suicide" comment...think about it for a few minutes.
