There you go. You are fighting. Just keep doing it. It's your daily mission every day. As soon as you wake up it should be top of mind and you should post roll first thing.
yeah, i almost posted roll last night at 12:01 am cst but don't know what time the roll flips. i usually do it as soon as i get to work. been doing a little exercising in the morning when i get up to relax. do a good bit in the evenings too.

i posted in my new home how i was being a little bitch. i tried to post to my old home but it was locked.

right now my plan is to post roll every day, use the chat room to vent and ask questions, and take it one hour at a time.

"It's time for war"....

Way to dig in and "go to war", Sally.

How about this...STOP fucking drinking for a month or two and get serious about quitting.

If you can run around barefoot, surely you can give up drinking for a bit, no?

Quit being a little bitch and talking yourself in circles and just fucking quit...ONE DAY AT A TIME.

What has 4 wheels and flies? A garbage truck.

Who caves after a few days and some drinks? A pussy by the named barefoodAdam.

Stop being a bitch and man the fuck up or get to steppin...bare foot.

Can you? Don't fail yourself there's something called freedom waiting for you! I quit with you today!

HEY, Barefoot Adam, get your ass into your new home and your old home to answer the 3 caver questions. And please do not simply regurgitate the crap that you spewed out in here about drinking causing you to cave. No, think harder and come up with the real reason you caved. I will give you a hint: it has to do with you only posting roll once before you caved.

Bro This is jacked up!

Your roll post was: barefootAdam - the body is a temple. keep it holy.
Then you post this update?

How long you been running barefoot? Maybe its time to just walk with some shoes on.

If you really want to quit.
Tell me these Four things.

Why are you quitting?
Why did you fail?
What could you do different?
What are you going to do now to be quit?

You will owe answers to your quit group, but this is a great place to start the process of getting your thoughts together.

We don't try here...... We do.
We make a promise and stand on the integrity of our word.
Right now your integrity rating is in the......... who is going to battle/war with you, when at the first sight of pain you turn tail and run????

When it gets hard... we reach out for help and work through the suck of being tired and having headaches.
We build teams of accountability so we will not be defeated by the enemy.
We stand strong Every Damn Day, One Day At A TIME, shoulder to shoulder.

You are an addict. You will not quit on your own. You need support.

Don't mock this sight.....
We are Quit
You play by the rules here or go find somebody to sweet talk you elsewhere. (Bla Bla Bla)

Answer the questions. 'Popcorn'

i deserve all of that. and what everyone else says. i'm not saying that caving humbled me. i am saying that i am cautious to say "i will do this" or "i will do that" b/c every time i do, i wind up on my butt. when i keep secret my plans, i i find myself more successful. "your body is a temple, keep it holy" is my inspiration. it is what i am striving for, not what i am an example of. i am an example of failure but i won't give up.

i am NOT mocking this site nor am i a troll. there are some people here who have reached out to me and i couldn't be more grateful for them nor more grateful that the wake-up call that is this thread.
Quote
Why are you quitting?
i want my life back. it has been hijacked.
Quote
Why did you fail?
i failed b/c i am weak and caved. i shouldn't have had anything to drink. it let my guard down time and time again.
Quote
What could you do different?
not drink and not give up/in.
Quote
What are you going to do now to be quit?
well, start off by posting here and keeping accountability for myself. post roll call and promise not to for that day. take things just one day, or even one hour, at a time.
OK..
Let's let the talking turn to acting.

I understand, not what I could be, but better than I used to be..... I get it.

But these are the rules of this sight.
You post roll with integrity or your out!
You have to let the old you die.
You can never go back.
Give it time...
The new you will be worth it.

Copy your response and post it in September..... Then follow their instructions.

I assure you it won't be easy....
They are going to hammer you to the wall....... Hoping someday you will realize they are (we) only trying to save your life.

I quit with you .. When you give your answers to September and promise to post roll Every day!

update:

some good, some bad.

bad:
would stop for 2 days then i was getting headaches and blurry vision and couldn't work (sql dba). then would get a dip and headache would stop but dang, just starting over. got about 3 days in and what did i do? i drank a couple of beers and so goes my resolve. caved. i lost a couple of battles but will not loose the war. the problem is that i lost those battles, imho, by not arming myself with knowledge and acknowledging that i am a nicotine addict.

good:
i don't want to proclaim this or that; boasting about what tomorrow brings has humbled me every time. i will be posting roll tomorrow. thank you all for the responses and thank you to anyone who has anything to do with site.

thanks!
- adam
I hope you understand why people are being hard on you. If others hold your hand and tell you that a slip up is ok, then you'll go right back to caving. There are no small "slip-ups" when it comes to quitting this stuff. I'm only on Day 2 and my head is absolutely pounding. But this is the fight that we have. The pain is worth it.

When you cave, you hurt yourself and those that are quitting with you. You need accountability and I need it as well. As a fellow quitter in your Quit Group, I need you to get your head on straight for the both of us.
Well said Vision....
I quit with you today.
I believe.....
