Hey bud. How are you doing today? You are a f*cking Viking Warlord when it comes to helping others (like me) smash down the cravings. Great group text this weekend. Just want to be sure you're kicking ass on your end as much as you are helping your Samurai bros and sisters.

That's what it takes to defeat this bitch! Stay pissed at all the years she tricked you and demand every one back! Hang in there, great job! We will always be addicts but I'm fine with that as long as I'm dip free! Damn proud to be quit with you my friend!
Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD

Well done Barefoot!

I quit with you today.
thank you for the comment and not giving up on me. i respond well to people staying on my ass too.

if saving my life means being stomped in the face, i welcome everyone to line up and stomp the crap out of me.
Im happy to see this turnaround too. Stay diligent and serious about this. Its a matter of life and death.
it is. i stopped a few times on my own before coming here and i know that hell all too well (first few days).

i am tired; physically, emotionally, spiritually. i am only going through the process of withdrawal one more time but i can't do it on my own.
BA, glad you are back in it.. proud to be quit with you today brother.
BA it sucks till it don't no more. It's so worth every damn second of it! Hang in there it will let up. I've yet to hear anyone dying from quitting. Freedom is awesome! It's tough you can do this! Damn proud to be quit with you today!

You definitely aren't on your own brother. I feel your pain I promise. It sucks every single minute. But if you think about it, if you are done with this shit. You only have to go through this once and then you are free. That's the way I've looked at it the last 4 days. Plus what other option do you have? Loose your life because of something so stupid. I think not. You can beat this!

update:

some good, some bad.

bad:
would stop for 2 days then i was getting headaches and blurry vision and couldn't work (sql dba). then would get a dip and headache would stop but dang, just starting over. got about 3 days in and what did i do? i drank a couple of beers and so goes my resolve. caved. i lost a couple of battles but will not loose the war. the problem is that i lost those battles, imho, by not arming myself with knowledge and acknowledging that i am a nicotine addict.

good:
i don't want to proclaim this or that; boasting about what tomorrow brings has humbled me every time. i will be posting roll tomorrow. thank you all for the responses and thank you to anyone who has anything to do with site.

thanks!
- adam
I hope you understand why people are being hard on you. If others hold your hand and tell you that a slip up is ok, then you'll go right back to caving. There are no small "slip-ups" when it comes to quitting this stuff. I'm only on Day 2 and my head is absolutely pounding. But this is the fight that we have. The pain is worth it.

When you cave, you hurt yourself and those that are quitting with you. You need accountability and I need it as well. As a fellow quitter in your Quit Group, I need you to get your head on straight for the both of us.
Barefoot,

Take it from a fellow caver from July '14 (Now January '15) who caved after 167 days of stoppage: If you truly desire to be QUIT then you will take this site seriously. Your lack of judgment effects not only you but all of us on KTC. Despite the fact that we don't know each other personally the fact of the matter is that you pissed on everyone in your quit group as well as me. Your cave effects me. I don't trust your answers either. The only way that you can prove to us on KTC that you are serious about QUITTING is by manning up  taking your lumps  continuing to move forward by posting roll EDD. If you want genuine support from anyone than you need to own it  post roll. Get your head out of the clouds  do some serious reflection. Turn off all the technology  get outside for a little bit. Take it all in. Shoot me a PM  we can dive into this a little further if you truly want to be QUIT. Other wise I won't be supporting you.
