Damn, I just wish I was as smart as you young bucks are. I started this addiction at the age of 12 and quit at 36. That is 24 years of playing Russian Roulette.

You have been given great advice thus far. Maintain your quit, use your group for support and know that there are a great many people on here to help you at anytime. You have been given the tools, now it is your choice on the order you use them and how you execute your quit. Quit strong my friend and reach out when you are in need.

Now brace for the suck, pound it out and find your alternative to the weed. Drinks lots of fluid, and then bask in the fact that your breath doesn't have a stank to it, your fingers don't have that brown grease on them and your teeth don't look like you just ate a turd.

Trev,
Cranberry juice lots of it rids your body quickly of nic poison. Keep very hydrated seeds, carrot sticks, anything you can do to keep your mind off of your exmistress.
I see you are posting roll that is the cornerstone of what we do here. We quit for today only, wake up tomorrow repeat.
You should also be getting numbers from people here on the site and from your group those numbers can mean the difference between life and death. Its not weird to have numbers from total strangers so don't feel that way. If you need mine PM me and its yours.
Stay quit

Welcome Trevor.

I am also 27 years old and have been at it for four years. Whether you are new or old to the poison we are all equal in the battle to get over it. I'm in Decembers quit group but will be glad to see you succeed as well. Welcome to the fold. Keep posting roll.

Post roll, keep your word. Pretty simple right? Trust me it's hard. But if you really want to quit thisis the place to do it. I was a slave to a tin can for almost 16 years. If I can quit one day at a time you can too. Let's do this man.

Wow!

You guys are really awesome. Just reading the support helped cool down another craving.

I'm going to go grab another water, head over to the welcome center, and learn how to get help for myself and give help to my brothers in need.

I'll be in touch!

Welcome Trevor. Your story sounds familiar. You've tried to quit before, but ended up just taking a break for a while before you went back to the bitch. Me and thousands of others here on this site have done the same thing in our past. The difference is that we now use this site. The process that we do here on this site works. It's a proven method to keep people off nicotine. Post roll every day. Participate with your group. Read all about other people's trials; their pains and aches with quitting. Get cell #'s of people in your quit group and text them daily. Your commitment to quitting; you telling other people that you quit today, and them telling you that they quit today, will keep you going when the shit gets tough and you are craving worse than you ever thought possible. Your brothers will help you through this shit, and you will help them through it. That's what makes this site work and that's what you have to commit to, 100%. No less.

I quit with you today!

Trevor, welcome to KTC, and welcome to your choice to take your life back. You're right in the middle of the suck buddy. It's going to last for a few more days maybe weeks before it gets better.

But it will get better, I promise.

Hydrate, drink so much water your pissing your eyes out. If you pass the bathroom and dont piss drink more, it will help flush out the NIC.

When those cravings come drop down and knock out some push-ups or do something, if you cant take a breath you cant crave.

Post roll, get into your group and get accountable! Dont just put your toe in the water, jump the heck in and get your quit on. We quit once a day and everyday, you can do anything for one day.

Hit the welcome center, pinkish link and read up, it will help you through the suck. Once you get into your group start exchanging numbers and get battle buddies to help you out. You got this man, I wish I quit like you are at such a young age. I quit with you today.

Hello Everyone,

I'm 24 years old. Been dipping since I was 19. And I can't really remember what it was like before.

I got about 30 days in 2 times before when I decided "Oh, I can have one to enjoy the taste and then just forget it ever happened." I'm not going down that road again.

I got through the first two nights of aching hands and feet and unbearable headaches. I've just had a bunch of trigger cravings today. I hate this part, but I really want to get back to what I was like before dipping. To sum it up - I want to know what it is like to sit down at a restaurant and not be stressed about having to go an hour without the CHANCE of dipping. I just want to be able to go out and have fun and not be that guy.

I know I can do this and I'm very thankful to have such a supportive community on my side.

Thank you,

Trevor
