sharpening the shanesaw
« on: August 04, 2015, 08:23:00 AM »
Hi. I figure now is a good time to introduce myself. I am shane. 31 years old. I have 1 wife and 2 kids. My boy is 4 my girl is 2. Live in new Hampshire, and ain't ever leaving.

I started dipping when I was 14, so we can call it a 16 year problem. A little store 1 town over didnt give two hoots how old you were, they'd sell ya dip, butts, beer, porn whatever your little prepubescent heart wanted. So needless to say I never had any problem getting my Skoal (at the time) straight.

So early on, I dipped whenever I got the chance. Since I was still a kid, most of these times were in school. But also every shower I took would be accompanied by the bitch. Every bike ride. Every hike. Every time fishing. I became a very active outdoors man at 14, just so I could dip without my mom seeing....she was clueless and I was happy dipping away. Man did I think I was so badass...

Later on I switched over to grizz because it was cheaper. I needed it cheaper because I was going through close to two tins a day. For most of my life I was a commercial roofer so dipping all day was never a problem. I learned how to leave that shit in while drinking. So I had that shit in all day. All day that is, until I met my wife...Then my days of ninja dipping started.

My wife is a saint and its by the mercies of God that she ain't left me yet. She never knew I dipped. I would always be the one to volunteer to run to the store to get the sour cream or what have ya. "I have to go scout for some firewood." "I gotta go to the neighbors house for a minute". "I gotta sharpen the chainsaw". "I gotta change the oil in the tractor"....all these things were just dumb excuses to find the time to destroy my mouth.

I decided last year, it was time to quit. I had to quit for several reasons. I hated hiding it from my wife and kids. I want to be a grandfather someday. I hate giving my money to those assholes. I like my teeth. I like my jaw.
I Tried to do it on my own. Failure after failure really started to discourage me. Then I found this site by searching for fake dip reviews in august of last year. I signed up to this site to get some coupon codes. Well the fake shit didn't do it either. So finally I decided to give this place whirl. This was a tough desicion to make. I don'tuse the internet for anything really and i especially don't talk to people over the internet... I dont facebook or email or chat or any of that. But what the hell. I figured what's the harm.

Well I found out there was no harm. With the help of strangers I can quit. With the support of people I ain't ever even met I can overcome this addiction.
Now that I am quit life is so much better. No more worrying that my hiding places will discovered. Gladly kiss my wife without feeling guilty. I feel now I can quit drinking too and I am on day 9. I told my wife that I quit something she never knew about and she is proud of me and on board.

I feel with the support of you assholes, and support of my family, this is the real deal. I am quit. And with the tools and methods provided here I can stay quit, one day at a time. I look forward to quitting with you all.
Thanks for reading.
