I'm 31, and have been dipping for 17 years. I'm at a can of Copenhagen Snuff a day. Due to financial reasons and simply wanting to be more healthy, I plan to quit this Saturday. I have a Spartan Race which is a 4k event. My question is; do I quit right now and deal with the withdrawals or wake up Saturday with a fresh start? I'm afraid if I quit today the withdrawals with take a toll on me before or during the race.
Dude...quit NOW. There's always gonna be a "Spartan Race" around the corner. There is no perfect time to quit, other than right fucking now.

Next week you might be in a ball scratching contest or some other event and won't want to quit because it could distract you. Life is an event.

Jump on in the quit pool bro. We won't let you drown. But stay away from WT, he swims commando.

Just quit now. Bust your ass and take out your frustration during the race. It's better than spending those first few hours sitting in a car or at a desk going nuts. I have been quit for 12 days and things are getting better. The first few days suck and the withdrawal is not going to kill you. Quit today and take your rage out on the race this weekend.

What the hell kinda question is this? If you want to quit, then you quit. Right now. If you want to be healthier, then you quit. Right now! What's more important? That race or your REAL health?

If you are looking for reasons to not quit yet, then you aren't serious about quitting. If you aren't serious about quitting, you will fail. Plain and simple.

If you are worried about the "withdrawal" now, what's going to happen when you are in the middle of the biggest SUCK of your life 3-4 days in?

Kinda ironic...Spartans emphasized duty, discipline and endurance....here you are preparing for this race and questioning yourself...

Dump the can, pledge yourself to the quit and show your integrity and discipline.
Blah...Blah...Blah...You keep TALKIN....I'll keep QUITTIN

I'm not here to make friends, I'm here to support YOUR quit.
