John, I'm glad your making this decision, but I'm with the other guys, why wait? Speaking from my experience, this wasn't something that where I could get a running start and it be easier. The only thing that makes this work is commitment for today. Thats what I missed on my other failed quits. I treated it as a habit not an addicition. Until I saw myself as an addict, a user, I didn't have the tools to quit. So I quit today. Just like I quit yesterday, and the day before. You can do it, your at the right place. Quit and stay quit by being accountable to the guys on here. You will be in the March HOF quit group. Welcome. Quit, come post roll every day and reach out to any of us if you need help.

John, John, John..... I think that you have the right idea about quitting..but completly jacked up on the date. I dont give a shit on what you plan on doing, to me thats just horseshit. You want to impress us. Throw that shit away now! Otherwise dont post on here untill your serious. I hope you step up to the plate with your promise, and your not just blowing sunshine up my ass with this talk about quitting later! If you really want to quit, you would do it now! Otherwise you are no different then a crack head making excusses for putting off your quit and getting your fix! Get on board with Baxter and make your quit NOW! The next pinch may be the one that KILLS YOU!

Yahwe,

Great plan. But why wait to Thursday to save your own life? Look, it's gonna suck no matter when you do it. It isn't any easier just cause the stars are in line, you have your lucky shirt one, etc. JUST DO IT.

Dump that shit out, find your quit group and post roll. All people who plan to quit in the future have one thing in common...they are still using!!!

You're better than that...you can do this. Man up and do it now!!!!

Hello my name is John,

My topic title date and time are when I begin a new life "Dip Free". I am almost 43 years old. I am a self employed personal trainer, who has been blessed with a wonderful business and life. I have been dipping for 28 years. I have tried in the past to quit. By me being here and posting, I was not successful. I will be dip free this time. I want to be around and enjoy life, clean and healthy. I choose late Thursday evening for the following reasons: 1. It will give my body a chance to adjust to no dip while I am sleeping. 2. Friday is my last day of work for the week and I can use the weekend to get through the first 72 hours of withdrawl. I am spiritually and physically healthier than I have ever been in my life...NOW IS THE MOMENT. I greet any and all on this site who have or will be clean with love and respect for what you have or will accomplish.
