Cd21, unfortunately you need to be 18 to post on the boards, but I suggest that you read all you can on the KTC site, and drink as much water as you can. The quit is simple, don't use nicotine!
Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

Time to quite

Hello everyone,

I don't know if I'm doing this right by starting a new thread but I hope I am. I'm 17 years old and have been dipping since I was 15. The past two years I've told myself I would quite when this or that happened but I never have until tonight. Two things happened in the past week that have led me to the decision to finally stop for good. The first happened well on vacation with my girlfriend of 8 months who didn't know I dipped. I came clean and told her even though she was disgusted and understandably so she told me she would support whatever decision I made in terms of quitting or continuing to use. The second came when I arrived home and my dad told me he had found tins in my room. The look of disappointment on his face was what has convinced me that enough is enough and I need to quite. So as I type this at 3:11 am I am only 3 hours clean and craving already. I know I'm in for a long and difficult journey but posting this alone has helped. I only ask for support from those who have been where I am. I also hope that I can be some sort of support to others
