Short tempered, lack of focus, all I can think about is that damn can.  I hear 72 hours is when the physical cravings subside....Any adivce?!?  I'm goin nuts over here!
Go work out, work out hard. Drink a shit ton of water. You will get through this, I'll quit with you today.
Hang in there bud. Im on day 4 and it does get better. I constanlty chew gum and it seems to help quite a bit. If things get too bad for me, I just put in a pinch of the fake shit (Smokey Mountain). It helps. WalMart carries it, if you want to give it a try. Stay Strong!
That's some good advice. I have been ripping through gum pretty damn fast too! It does help, for sure! I am trying to stay away from the "fake" cans...it's so close to real, that it just makes me go out and buy the real shit.

I heard after Day 3 it gets a lot easier...how is day 4 compared to the last 72hours in your world?

yeah, go into chat and tell those jack wagons to make you laugh.

I remember the battle became fun when I would drop my jaw at some of the conversations in there.

Tell them you need to laugh. Someone will step up to the plate.

Dag use to get me laughing when he would post. "No nic, just dick."

My friend stay away from the can, avoid it and survive. I know you can do this but you need to see the joy in the quit too.

The pain won't last forever. It gets easier because you will become stronger. Right now, you aren't that strong. Get into chat and get help.

If you can't focus veg out in chat. They will keep you strong and always seemed to know what to say and what I needed at the time.

I am cheering for you. You can fight through this today. Keep your word.

Imagine what your life would be like if you had two penis' and one ball. That should get you thinking.

For me, I try to figure out the placement. Ball on bottom, penis' side by side or piggy back. I thought about that for hours and forgot about the crave.

I think I would do just fine with two penis'. I would nick name them tweedle de and tweedle dumb.

The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.

Hey y'all!!

My name is Jason, and today I made the decsion to kick the can after 5 years. I'm your typical country boy, and as any typical country boy, I ripped chew like it was my job. workin, hunting, driving, chillin', there was never a "bad" time to have a chew.

I have tried to quit before with no success. This site seems liek the perfect resource for me to get a hold of this vice, and beat it to the damn ground! I appreciate y'alls support and look forward to meetin more of ya!

Respectfully,
Jason
Congrats on a great decision. Honestly, you have no idea how good it is.

Make sure you read everything you can in the WELCOME CENTER, and then read more. When you know what it means to post roll, AND CAN KEEP YOUR WORD, head over to MAY13 and post roll.

Glad to have you here, glad to have another brother to watch my back. I'll be watching yours.... 'archer'
*Quit today. Full stop. No qualifiers. Tomorrow?... IDK, IDC.
