I hate the call out the caver threads but you brought this on yourself. Seriously, you're quit is gonna be better? You wanna compeat with guys like 9 and ODAAT that are investing in the trials of others? Dude you can't even beat yourself for one day.

You wanna know when I was ready to quit dip, when I realized I was the biggest loser in the game. My quit ain't better then anyone's here but I can guaren-damn-tee you I ain't using today.

I'm a competitive person so when I see that someone else has done it I know that I can do it...only better!
Ok, I like competition too so you're on. I bet that you will miss a day posting roll before I will. It's on "quitter", now bring it. Make me remove the quotes.
Can I play this one too ??!!

My quit told me if I ever leave, it will kill me.

Nicotine owned me for 24 years. I resumed control on Feb. 1, 2011.

If you're not going to post roll-call, Andy, you're not even in the game.

If that's how it's going to be, the most helpful thing I can say to you is this:
I'm going to stay quit, and you're going to cave if you haven't already.
Why? Because I promised to quit today. You did NOT.

Loser.

Since you won't make yourself accountable, this little boast of mine is all the motivation I can leave with you to help you to maintain your resolve.

You'll be at the counter of the 7/11 buying one of those energy drinks to keep you awake for a long drive, and that wall of dip will be facing you. The thought will come to you that nothing keeps you awake like a harsh Skoal buzz. Ooo especially if you've been quit for a while, that adrenaline rush is going to feel so good! Just the thought of that wintergreen will make your mouth water.

But then you'll remember that butthead "nineassholes" who predicted you would cave, and the competitive person in you won't let him be right - not today.

If you're not going to post roll, that's the best any of us here can do for you. Sorry.

Names Andy.

I've been dipping for about 5 years now, at varying levels. Usually, around 3/4 can per day, but more often less. Recently, I had a dream that I had throat cancer. I should back up here and say that I lost my dad to smoke related lung cancer. After my dream, i awoke to find that my throat feels tight and "itchy". This has scared me shitless, but after a many failed attempts to quit this has kicked me right in the baws!

Day before yesterday, I went and stocked up on Mint Snuff (made from mint leaves). I'm proud to say that the cravings haven't been that bad really. I was initially going to "ween" myself, but I put a pinch in yesterday and held it for about ten minutes. It was like I didn't even want it! The Mint Snuff is a great "pacifier". It's almost like having something in my cheek was my addiciton. I'm really not missin the nicotine!

I'm still scared about my throat, but I honestly think it's simply allergies. Either way, that fear and nightmare was enough to make me dump the remainder in the garbage where it belongs.

I'm looking forward to this journey. I'm a competitive person so when I see that someone else has done it I know that I can do it...only better! :P Probably not better, but it gives me something to aspire to!
Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. but it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

See you in roll call, Andy. I'm glad you're here.
