Hey Grizz, sorry I'm just getting back to ya! I had a pretty good weekend, but today was an 80 year old ex-librarian kind of a bitch day. Just got done running and I feel much better. About to cook some supper  watch the SEC put a whoopin on the pac12! How you holding up?

I'm doing a lot better than I was at noon today. Always dipped at work during lunch  today was horrible for some reason. I couldn't get the thought out of my head so I went for a 3 mile walk in my khakis  polo lol. It wasn't perfect, but walked til the craving passed. Ready to be on day 5!
Awesome job! Remember, most craves last no longer than 3-5 minutes. You can endure almost anything for that long and you've certainly proved you can resist dip for that long!

Great job.. drinking a whole gallon of water or anything to the point where you cant move seems to help me. Stay strong, it'll get a little easier soon, not much, but easier!

Guys, I played nic-free golf for the first time in probably 11 years! Surprisingly, I didn't crave it the entire time like I thought I would. Doing well  smiling wide on the beginning of day 4!
See nicotine did nothing for you...you can still do all what you did before without her...keep up the good work...I stayed away from every trigger I had in the beginning.

I love the fact that you are offering your digits. Way to go! I eddited them out of the public thread. Shoot a private message (PM) and share them. We get some trolls here from time to time. They don't need your digits.

Quit on.
thanks for the fix - shoulda thought of that myself - Jbob
1st time I played a Nic free round I played terrible...blamed the lack of chew. Then I realized I just suck at golf  chewing has nothing to do with it! Keep it going Pig

Nice work Pig!! And just think: at this point you have NO nicotine in your system!! Your body is now free of a poison that is three times more toxic than arsenic. You're no longer killing yourself! That freedom is great, fog and all. Really, I've found in the first 2 weeks of my quit that, although I'll experience some random strong cravings, the activities that I enjoyed while chewing (golfing, farming, driving) are much more enjoyable when I'm not worried about spitting, I'm not worried about supply, and I'm not chain-dipping. Embrace the freedom Pig; your mind is now beginning to function in an oxygen-rich environment.
We all want progress, but if you're on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive.

Has tobacco been so kind to you that you should leave it with regret? There are far better things ahead than any we leave behind.

Come join us. Come be quit with us. Rather than slowly commit suicide, slowly regain your health. It might hurt at first, but it won't kill you. And once the birthing process is done you'll find yourself a free man. With friends. And health. And wealth. Come drink at the fountain of quit.
