Hello out there. I've been dipping on and off for the better part of 22 years. I have quit several times and always drifted back to it. Well I am starting day two for the last time. I want this worm dirt gone from my life. I want to be rid of the addiction. I am done this time. I'm sure I will call on you guys for support over the next few weeks. No more, I'm done!!!
1. You never quit, you only stopped using. If you quit, you would still be quit.
2. 22 years or 2 years, doesn't matter you are still an addict.
3. Glad to hear you want this to be your last time. You came here to us, NOW LET US HELP YOU.
Quit the ktc way!. POST ROLL EVERY DAMN DAY. Find the forum post pre HOF july. Post your day quit and your promise to quit just for the day there.
4. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE AN ADDICT. But you can control it. You can be stronger than it. Nic is just a fucking stupid chemical. You are STRONGER than it. I'm 23 and an addict. I'll be 73 and still be an addict! But when that day comes, I hope to choose to be quit.
5. The most important lessons to learn:
quit one day at a time - it is much easier to just quit for the minute, quit for the hour, quit for the day...than to quit for your life. JUST QUIT TODAY.
ALSO REMEMBER THIS, 1 problem plus nicotine equals 2 problems. No matter what situation you are in, nicotine will NEVER solve your problems.
