just over 2 weeks ago I posted here for the first time. I thought it was a good time to re-post and reaffirm what I have been working on for the past two weeks. As I have done for the past 14 days, when I wake up I will continue my morning ritual of posting roll and re-affirming my quit one day at a time.

Simple and brutally effective, kind of like a .45 to Nic's head!

Hey y'all thanks for all the support. Day one is going well, but its supposed to its the first day. I posted this morning on the november quit board, and will post again tomorrow. Thx again for the encouragement.
"One day at a time" is your new mentality. That's how it is done here. We're all addicts. So it doesn't matter whether it is day 1000 or day 1, all that matters is that you we are quit today.

Yes, I know what you're saying...that days are different, withdrawals vary, etc. Forget that shit. Turn the tables on the Nic Bithch and DECIDE that you will embrace the suck and enjoy your freedom. Turn the pain into excitement. You're free today...and nothing is going change that. We'll deal with tomorrow when it gets here. But today you're free!

Congrats on a great choice, brother.

Hi, I am here to finally quit dipping, I have tried doing it on my own (unsuccessfully) and have decided to make myself accountable by joining up here.

Here is a little about me, I just graduated college and am 22, I picked up dipping my second year in school, eventually it got out of control, i was up to a can every day or so, Presently it is about a can a week, but it is time to totally get off this stuff and quit for good. When I wake up in the morning it will be day one.

I would appreciate any advice y'all have to give, and thanks in advance for all the support that I'm sure y'all will give me.
Welcome to the freakshow, WRC. Get one thing in your head right off the bat - we don't do "try" here, and there is never a good excuse to go back to nicotine slavery. We are here, like you, because we couldn't do it on our own. 99% of us couldn't do it because we had no one that would call us out for BS excuses and half-ass efforts.

First thing. Quit right now. not tomorrow, not next Thursday. Go to the WELCOME CENTER and read everything you can. Post roll if you understand what it means, and are ready to honor your word.

Congratulations of a great decision. A man's decision.

I'll quit with you today brother. PM me if I can help, or you have questions. Or post a question in this thread, you'll get an answer soon.
What Zam said! You will be in the November preHOF Class they will support you and so will all the rest of us crazy quitters out here. Start gathereing names and #'s of those you can call on to help pull you through the tough days, they will come.
Listen to these guys. Read all you can. PM me if I can help. Congrats, you just got your life back!!!
welcome. You have to WANT to quit, not just try. Remember the reasons for quitting everytime you start to crave snuff. PM me for my number and I'll be there to help
