yap, been there done it. I'll quit after a year 2, 3 ,4 sons birth, sons b-day 1,2,3,4,5? He's almost six. just excuses. man up boo, and post roll.

Treitz quit playing the "I'll Quit By" game and man up and Play the I QUIT FOR TODAY and tomorrow I will start all over again and again I QUIT FOR TODAY. Leaving yourself a "deadline" to quit by just opens yourself up to cave because you always feel like you have more time before that deadline.

I could have typed your post myself. I have followed the exact same path only mine continued past 25 to I'll quit by 26, by 27, by the time I have a kid, by the time my kid is 1 etc. And here I am now at 29 finally commiting full fledge to my quit.

Take it day by day. Post your role DAILY, stay close to the site, if you feel an urge read whats here, get in the chat, rage, call/text/PM other members, use the vets. Do whatever the hell you have to, to get through each crave one at a time.

Commiting to your quit, posting role, holding yourself accountable, and allowing your quit brothers to hold you accountable does go along way.

Just tell yourself One day at a Time

Quit with you.

Sounds like you're serious. Go to the welcome center and read up on how things work around here. The most important thing you do here is make that promise that you won't use..wake up and do it every morning..post roll. Stay busy..stay string..stay quit. I'll look for you in the morning in the November 2012 , pre HOF quit board.

Just one day at a time. Not as overwhelming with this thought. Just get through the day no matter what. I sure as hell wish I had quit @ 25. I'm 44 now and believe me it's much harder after she's been in your veins for 30 yrs.
Quit now, when you look back you'll be glad you did.
For me, never again.....

I am quitting, not trying, or hoping, I am quitting. Been doing this for almost 8 years now, sick of looking inside my mouth all the time and being scared of every little bump i see (and then compounding the problem by throwing a fatty in), sick of the bad breath, sick of hiding it from loved ones. I started when I was 16 or 17, I told myself when I was 18 I'd quit before college started, When I was 20 I told myself I would quit before my 21st birthday, when I was 21 I told myself I'd quit by the time I graduated college. About a year ago, I told myself I would quit by the time I'm 25 - My 25th birthday is in a week. I am done with this stupid can that controls every aspect of my life. Day 1 is coming to a close. It's been tough, and I know I have hell ahead of me, but I am going to kick this cans' ass!!!!
