I last took a dip 15 days ago and just found this site today. Hopefully this will help someone decide to quit to. It hasn't been quite as bad as I thought. I've been killing the cravings with sugar-free gum and avoiding gas stations. If you can be strong at the store the battle is 3/4 won. If you don't buy it you can't dip it. Here's looking forward to 100 days and then a lifetime dip free. If I can do it, you can do it. Start today!
Holy sheeit! That's awesome. I tried to avoid gas stations, too, but it's the easiest and closest place for me to get seeds. Nice quit, bro!

Ash - Congrats and welcome, brother!!! 15 days is huge, but it is just that...15 days. Great start, no doubt. But quitting everyday is where you seperate yourself from from the sorry lot of excuse-making nic junkies.

The Nic Bitch is very sneaky...and she'll win you back if you ever forget that. I quit for an entire summer before letting my guard down for opening day of dove season. I thought I was in control because it hadn't been "too hard to quit for the whole summer." Of course, I was dipping again while I was thinking that...

The Nic Bitch actually let me rationalize that I was in control even while I was back sucking on her garbage!!! My point is that I quit lots of times before I found this site. I made a week or two each time, even a whole summer once. But KTC changed all of that. I started learning about my addiction from people who know (not fucking doctors with their pills), about "posting roll," the "one day at a time" mentality, and making a commitment to myself and the folks on this site.

I'm pumped about your quit...15 days is huge!!! But it won't mean shit if you let your guard down (like I did). I encourage you to read all you can on this site...get involved as much as you want...but post roll and read everything.

Stay strong, and stay quit, brother!!!
