Great choice, Mikel. But luck's got nothing to do with this. You either WILL quit, or you WON'T. That's it. Go to the Welcome Center (pink link at top). Learn how to post roll and read all you can.

This is day one! I have substituted a jerky that is in a can like dip. I am staying strong so far. I quit smoking when I was about 17 and immediately went to Copenhagen. I have been in the Army for almost 8 years now and have dipped everyday. I am on two cans a day now and no matter what I try I just can't seem to slow down. So here I am, not ready to die, not yet anyways, so cold turkey it is. Wish me luck.
Well hello and welcome to making the best decision that you can.

However you will find that when you are with this site. there is no luck. There is your word when you wake up in the morning to say that you will not let any kind of nicotene into your body for that day, and then, you keep and honor that word.

Then repeat the next day.

So read up on the welcome center, get posted for today, and treat your word as sacred.

I quit today too, do you.
