This is something that needs to be addressed. Having an minimum age for the forum is absolutely fucking retarded, legal reasons or not it makes no sense to deny someone the opportunity to quit this God awful addiction because they're too young. They obviously posses the maturity to realize that they need to quit shoving cat shit in their lip, so what makes the forum any different? Everyone on this site (myself included) wishes they would have quit earlier. Tuck wants to quit before his addiction completely engulfs him as it did for so many of us. He wants to cut his addiction off before it has time to do any more damage and who are we to deny him that? This young man has put in more effort into his quit in 4 days than I have seen many quitters put into theirs in 100+ days, he's proven that he's here to seriously quit...not be a special butterfly that keeps a trophy can. It's rare to see someone this young realize what they're doing and decide to quit, so how can we not accept them and give them the same opportunity we'd give someone a little older? Not being allowed to quit here for many of us would mean resorting back into a life comprised of lies, shame, risk, etc. Not allowing someone to quit here pushes them back into that life. We like to say that quitting is life or death, well Tuck is choosing life and denying him the opportunity to quit here now, is a possible death sentence.
^^^^ 100% agree with MCO but also get the legality of it. Son, awesome job on day 3 or 4, and with all due respect I hope I DON'T see you again, don't be me and shit on $30,000, my reputation, and most importantly, my health.

Legality overrides sanity.

That's just the way the world works. It sucks but we cannot put the entire site at risk for one individual.

Tuck... We are in your corner... Make no mistake about that. Find every avenue that affords you the support that this site offers. Make as many contacts as you can and utilize them.

You need someone in your corner?... Contact me through pm.

So... I've looked around a bit and I'm sad to say that there aren't a lot of choices for you given that you're underage for a lot of sites. It's the usual story bro... Legal issues regarding content.
18 yrs old is the standard. You might want to do a li'l legwork into researching programs you could get into where you live. Again... Just throwing ideas out there. Hate to turn you away but that's how it rolls. As mentioned... Get involved with a text group and build accountability there. We'll be here when you turn 18.

Great decision tuck. Take it from a 37 year old who chewed for 23 of those years - now is the time to quit. Don't wait, but don't be disillusioned either - you are a life-long addict of nicotine. You can chose to quit and not feed the addiction, ever again, but that nicotine whore made her mark on you, and if you chose to play around with her she will not hesitate to kill. Hang in there, you can do this!

Hey man... Love that you're here and LOVE that you're quit!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but... This site is only for those 18 years and older. I think any of us would be more than happy to steer you to a site better suited to your age. Let us know.

Tuck congrats on the decision to quit. That said, I think this is an 18 and older site so they might boot you. If they do, please continue your quit. Quit with you today brother.

I truly wish that I had quit when I was young like you. The fact that you can see the potential health risks that lay ahead and are doing something about it now, says alot about your intelligence. Remember that accountability means that your goal of quitting nicotine will happen as promised. Accountability to both yourself and every person on this site is done every am when you make your promise to not use nicotine. After you make that promise in the am you enforce it with your personal integrity. You honor your commitments and promises as a man. I am sending my contact information to you and I along with others will be helping provide the accountability that you seek.

It took me 20 years to finally get my head out of my ass... Well done sir. I wish I could go back and kick my 17 year old self in the balls and quit then too.
