A great site and glad to have found it (once again). I am heading into three weeks of quit this time around. I would really like to join a Quit Group and I think I would be in with December but I just wanted some clarification before I go jumping in. Would someone mind confirming/helping me find my Quit Group?

Thanks!
Welcome to the December Group. Good decision to quit. Post often and we'll support you when the going gets tough. I have quit before for extended periods of time but have always found a good reason or a weak moment to go back. With the support of this site, I do not plan on going back again this time.

Let's bring it.

CLOSE THE DOOR. In my opinion, it?s the single most important step in your final quit. There is one moment, THE moment, when you finally let go and surrender to the quit. After that moment, no temptation will be great enough, no lie persuasive enough to make you commit suicide by using tobacco. SportDad 1/13/05 via Remshot

I do that all the time bro. You will as well, soon. All you have to do is stay quit, one day at a time.

You can do this. And yes, it is so worth it.

Thank you blp - congratulations to you as well! Keep up the quit.

I was reading a post earlier today (I think it was iuchewie) and saw that the poster woke up, got ready for life and went out into the day, without thinking about a dip. I can't wait to get there and I use that day as motivation to get there.

Right now, I am bravin' the cravin' (although I am thoroughly amazed at how hard it's hitting me today).

Thanks again for the support and know I offer the support right back to you.

if you quit on august 27th as your screenname suggests then you would in fact be a part of the december 2008 quit group: index.php?showtopic=1791

the quit groups are based on when you will become a "hall of famer" or in other words, be quit for 100 days. if you quit on the 27th, that will fall within the month of december for you.

there's nothing magical about 100 days quit -- it's a milestone. but it's a that we celebrate in a BIG way!

welcome to the rest of your life... it's something that CAN be done. congrats on a great decision to quit! let's get it done for good this time!
