Well after roughly 20 long years of dipping I'm feeling the urgency to quit. I know I need to quit for myself and its time that I do.

I was looking online today and found this site and glad I did. I'm looking mainly for encouragement.

For those of you that have already made that move and have quit...I wish you the best and I'm sure you will be very successful.

If anyones willing to provide some advice...i'm all ears.

Thanks,

Chris
I've got some advice.

Don't put that cat shit in your mouth today.

Find September 2012, place your name on our sacred Roll giving all your brothers you word that you wont.

Next, keep your word!

Finally, come back tomorrow and do it all again.

Unless you're too scared...
How long can you wait for freedom? If you are ready to fight everyday for who you are, for who you are meant to be, then listen to NOLAQ. That's all there is to this place. Right there in those four or five sentences. That's it. We can poke you with jabs and insults questioning whether you're wearing pink frilly panties under your jump suit but I'm not going down that road. If you want to be quit, then you quit. You put your word down and lean on your brothers and sisters when shit gets tough. The knowledge in this place is ridiculous. If there exists a path to quit nirvana, this place is the spiritual truck stop on the way.

Click on the link for the Welcome Center and start reading.

Post roll with the September 2012 pre-HOF quit group.

Oh, and you're going to get a lot more than encouragement here. Especially if you go back to sticking your fingers in a can of rat turd death. I guess you can say that I 'encourage' you to quit dipping, flush your shit, man the fuck up, post roll with your group and stay quit. If you can't do that then I 'encourage' you to look into other quit methods that are more encouraging.

Read THIS too while you're at it.

Welcome. This is day 8 for me and it is definitely getting easier. I dipped Copenhagen on and off (mostly on) for the last 30 years.

I find this forum really helpful. I generally don't post very often but I've been posting roll call every morning. It is amazing how comforting it is to read the posts and to know that there are people out there who have made the same commitment.

The method here is really simple. Quit dipping. No tobacco. period.

I've been using smokey mountain herbal snuff to get past craves and I recommend it if you need a substitute. I'm not only getting used to it but growing fond of it . . . I was finishing my run this morning and, as I found myself coming off the trail and heading towards home, I was actually looking forward to a dip of smokey mountain wintergreen.

All I can say is stick with it no matter what. It gets better.
