MikeA sticks his head between these 2 love birds and asks why on the screen his member number says 10,160?
I always wondered this myself.

I haven't felt this way since the first day of high school.  What's it going to be like?  Am I going to make new friends?  I'm nervous, I'm anxious, I'm ready to face it!

The one thing I won't be feeling is a sense of self disgust.  This time I won't be sitting at the back of the class spittin dip juice into a milk box and focusing more on being cool than actually learning.

So I'm here to learn  make some friends who are in the same boat.  I'm Mike.  A 25 year slave to the tin.  Dumped it on 1/1/11.  Looking forward to sharing good  bad and getting to the point where I can support the next generation of quitters!
Welcome aboard brother!
You've come to the right place to make this happen. I see the vets have guided you to posting roll. It's the single most important thing we do here (besides not stuffing shit in your lip). Making a daily commitment to yourself and to the members of your group and this site that you will not use nicotine for the day. You will learn how powerful this is.
Read as much as you can. You will find many folks with the same story as you. We all have one thing in common, we are all addicts. And we have all found this site and help each other stay Quit.
You can do it, and we can help you.

Stay Strong!!!
PM me if I can be of any assistance.

Brian

Thanks Loot!

Wait, was that a bit of reverse psychology? "think he'll make it?" I'll make it...no choice...feel like I've wasted 25 years being a slave to dip. I have to make it...too much life to live! Too many things missed. It's funny I have a friend who has gone thru AA and I hear that kind of chatter....never thought I would look back at see the same things missed because of dipping.
