Thanks for the advice and encouragement.

It's one hour at a time for me right now.

Work sucks. I work with a dude who is normally annoying. Today I want to pour gasoline on him and light that shit up.

Physically, I feel ok. Mostly mental for me, and right now I'm at full blown schitzo, but I'm going to be alright eventually.
Welcome! It will take a while for your brain to adjust to its new reality. All of the active quitters here have gone through this and we will help you one day or hour at a time if need be. Check out the live chat, there are usually folks there who can help you keep your mind off dip.

I quit with you today!

Stranger999 - 51 years old, a 35 year slave and on day 577 of freedom...
Hang in there. It gets better. So much better that I hate to say this...

One day real soon you are going to realize what a slave you have been and how so badly screwed your quality of life has been. Then your really going to be pist you didn't quit 34 years ago!

Yep, that's how great things will get!

That's the absolute truth of it!

The world loves to slap the balls of quitter. Its the epic karma of sticking poison in your pie hole.

Do yourself a favor: reach down to those massive steel nuggets and say something nice to them. You've got backbone.

Fuck this shit.
I had exactly the same sentiment when I joined. Hang on to that feeling, remember how you felt at this moment. Nic's gonna mess with you ALOT, and mostly by telling you how much you "actually liked dipping". Total bullsh!t. Remember this feeling every time she tells you that, so you see through the lie. One day at a time for sure, one minute at a time if you need to.

Gallon of water a day, lots of fiber, lay off the booze for awhile, sleep aides and anti-anxiety meds if you need them (I use lithium orotate and l-theanine, both natural, both found on Amazon), sunflower seeds, gum, mints... prepare yourself as it gets bad before it gets better, but it DOES get better! So much better! You'll be so glad you did this.

We're all here if you need help, just reach out. Quit on!

Hey randrooster,

Keep this fire that you have now, it will be good fuel to fight the nic bitch when she keeps tapping you on the shoulder for the upcoming days....

I see you joined a little while ago, have you been reading up on some stuff around here? It is a great way to pass time and stick it to the cravings. Try live chat too. I see you posted roll, great job. I will post support for you in July

Drink lots of water and stuff seeds, gum, hard candies in your mouth - it worked for me

Quit hard today, and tomorrow, do it again! ODAAT
To remain quit requires focus

Welcome to KTC Rand. Same story here. I started when I was 14. I can remember experimenting with Hawkins too.
I joined the site a year ago. IÂ’d been trying to Quit for years but was never successful. Since joining KTC IÂ’ve been Quit longer than IÂ’d ever been able to before, since I was 14. I was skeptical that support could help when I 1st joined, but IÂ’ve been amazed at what a difference it makes.

If thereÂ’s anything I can do to help, let me know.
Proud to Quit with you today Rand!
Just one and you will be back where you started.
And where you started was desperately wishing
you were where you are right now.

Fuck this shit.

I'm 47 years old. I've used nicotine in some form or another since I was 12. That's 35 motherfucking years. (Truth be told, I probably hit that Hawken for the first time when I was 11 going on 12.) I'm sure that I'm no better or worse off than anybody else here. You've all probably told the same lies that I have, and made all the same excuses.

I like the one day at a time thing. So, I'm here today. Tomorrow will take care of itself. I'm tired of typing now. Maybe later.
