Welcome Shawn. Quitting yesterday beats the crap out of quitting tomorrow like many. Glad to have you here.

Shawn,

Good choice to quit-----one day at a time---stay tough and post roll every day! You can do it!

Welcome to the September quit group, Shawn. There's lots of great information on this site and hundreds of people who have been down this road and are willing to help. It's not always a fun process, at times it downright sucks, but you can do this.

Go to the September quit group page, post roll call and become part of the team of quitters going through the same thing you are.

Own your quit...

Hi, I'm Shawn, 39 from New Jersey. Started dipping when I was 18... played a little college football and after practice when we'd get stuck in meetings for hours at a time, there was always someone passing around some dip to relax and kill time. 20+ years later I'm still doing a tin a day. I'm not going to lie, I still LOVE to dip... I just tired of the hold it has on me and it's gotten so fricken expensive. It' was $2 a tin when I started. Can't find it for less than $5 these days.

Anyway, today is day 2. I was absolutely miserable last night but so far today is a little better. I've been chewing a shit load of gum.
