Here is also a link to the July class.

July HOF Class

I had Anxiety problems also. I found working out daily and mediation helped with that a TON. Try to get your heart rate up for 30-45 minutes a day. Kills craves, kills anxiety, and it will also help you sleep which will be difficult while you detox.

READ everything you can on this site. It helps keep the mind busy and it also helps you see whats coming. Get your mind right and you can do this....

Remember we do not TRY here... we DO !!

Excellent decision! We don't mess around here, so no nic means no nic. Period. Dump it all and don't look back.

I used to always be waiting for a more ideal time to quit, but it never came. 20+ years later here I am finally getting it done, and I guarantee I've got more stressful junk going on in my life right now than many other times I passed up the opportunity. Do it now. It will never get easier by waiting.

Read everything you can here, stay close to the site, post your promise tomorrow not to use nic every morning, and be a man of your word. Repeat daily. As many have said before me, not easy, but simple.

So Im sitting here(honestly doing a paper for school..yay.....) and I've just decided that tomorrow will be day 1! I'm done with this shit. I'm done waking up early to do a lip and everything else that goes with it. So here goes....I wake up at 7.30AM so about 8 hrs til go.....I figure if all these people on here who some have a lot more of a life than me can do it and deal with the anxieties, so can I!

yea i know...the only reason I am not is owing to the fact that I have anxiety issues already( im on Lexapro for anxiety attacks and depression) Im kinda freaked out. and i have exams next week and the following. I know that it may sound like a cop out reason but Im just afraid that my anxieties would get the best of me and then I would fail some exams.....

Well welcome to the site. By cutting back all you are doing is dragging the withdrwals out. Dump your real stuff and lets get to quitting.

The first three days are all it takes to get the NIC out of your body, after that you are just fighting the habit. Get some seeds, gum, fake and get ready. I dipped a can a day for 23 years, posted my promise on here dumped my can and have never looked back.

I just wish I had been smart enought to quit at your age. Stop dragging it out, dump your can, post your promise and lets get this going.

Time to quit....

Hello everyone,

I don't know if this is where I post this but I just wanted to introduce myself.

My name is Justin and I am a 21 1/2 year old college student in Kenosha, WI at University of Wisconsin-Parkside. I have been dipping since I turned 18. I used Skoal Edge normally but sometimes Grizzly Wintergreen. I decided it was time to stop dipping when I had to schedule my classes and my jobs around getting enough nic in a day and was hiding it from my family and girlfriend. I kept trying for the past year to quit cold turkey but I never could do it because the increase in anxiety levels was just too much for me. Now I am using Hooch and Young's Chew for the titration method. This week thus far I am at 25% Young's and 75% Skoal. I hope to be on 100% Herbal within 4 weeks. That's my plan....so I guess that's about it, although I would appreciate any words of advice or encouragement!
