Hello all still alive and still chew free... going on day 10... and this week if there ever was a week to go off the wagon this one was it.... between work driving into and out of NYC and boston dealing with the jackass drivers and playing two baseball games were everybody chews. It was rough but I just keep telling myself whatever doesnt kill me will only make me stronger. So chewing on gum and sun flower seeds is the way to go and its working with the reprogramming of my brain after 17 years of this shit...
I do have a question.. the hazy or as i like to call it the "fog" is there anything besides water that will help? cause it just seems that my brain will not just click back on and i'm kind of just sleep walking thur my days
'boob' and I included the boobies cause its WOW for O@A :)
I don't 100% remember how I got through the fog, but I do remember about 2-3 weeks where I felt like I did absolutely nothing . . .and I probably did nothing . . . just think of it as some punishment for putting that shit in your mouth . . I promise you that the fog will pass and you will never regret the deciscion that you have made to quit.
Stay Strong.
Yeah, the fog can get irritating because it feels like it lasts so long, but it gradually gets better. Water definitely helps, and in my opinion, exercise speeds the body's process of reparing itself from the damage we all did with nicotine.
To some extent, though, it just takes some time, but no matter how foggy you feel, remember that it won't last forever. You'll get past the fog too, and you'll feel great. Just do your best to work through your days, fog or no fog. It'll get better.
