Jake, your quit is serious. KTC is serious, but simple:
- We post our promise first thing in the morning.
- If we're away from the Internets, we text a brother/sister our promise.
- We keep to our promise.
- And we do this EDD (every damn day).

(If you see this, check your PMs; you have my number; reach out, you are not alone!)

I just don't get it, you come here and tell us that your nic free and your joining and gonna post roll and that's the last we see of you. It's kinda like going to your friends house when being invited to a barbecue, you go into his bathroom, take a big dump. Don't flush the toilet and then go home before anyone discovers the mess you left. Hope you wiped your ass on the way out.

I have been Nic free for almost 72 hours. The suck is definitely sucking. I've been a can a day kinda guy for 6 years and am finally quitting this terrible habit. I started looking at what may cause infertility in men (my wife and I plan on trying in the next few months) and one of the leading causes of male infertility is high nicotine levels. It actually slows the sperm cells down. I desperately want kids some day and if quitting this stupid habit gives me better chances of having kids, I'm all for it. I stumbled on this site as I am having major cravings. I mean everything from a sore throat, stiff neck, headache, and just plain can't concentrate. It has literally taken me 30 minutes to type this on my phone. I'm glad to have you guys to help me through my quit and hopefully in the coming months and years, I'll be able to help people do the same.
Thanks guys
Wow, a trip down memory lane. Sorry but I must say I chuckled when I read it took you 30 minutes to type that on your phone. The reason being is 283 days ago that was me. It gets so much better! It will suck till it don't but hey you got this. We will be right beside you every step of the way. You got out as much as you put in here. Post roll early and every damn day! I quit with you today my friend! My pm stays on if you need my number its always available!
Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD

Congrats on the best decision of your life.

Post roll and do it every day. It is a promise to yourself and this brotherhood that you will not use any nicotine for that day. This promise is the cost of a wealth of knowledge and support.

Drink water, read, and post. There is great information on this site and the more you put into it the more you will get out of it.

PM any of else if you need help.

I am proud to quit with you today.

Congrats. Sounds like you are on the right track. Hope you get your wish about kids one day.

Good to have you here.
Man up and be a quitter ODAAT. Post Roll EDD. It works.

Good choice on deciding to quit.

Some good news, a roughly 3 days the nicotine should be out of your system -- the worst of the suck should be past. Things may be foggy ahead. Important: it gets better.

Head over to the January 2016 quit group and post roll, your promise to yourself and all here that you will not use nicotine for 24 hours. You will do this every damn day first thing in the morning. Then swap digits with your fellow quitters, support is then a text message away.

Drink lots of water, exercise. Read up the words of wisdom and hall of fame speeches -- basically everything here. It will help you stay quit.
Thanks! I will definitely join. I've been drinking water constantly and popping wintergreen Altoona like the world is running out of them.
